User

Very first time going and it exceeded my expectations. Went in for an 80 min massage with Karen and it was honestly the best massage I've ever received and I get them often. She made sure the pressure was what I had wanted, lots of consistency. Just overall a great job. Ended my evening off with a pedicure from CaSaundra and what a fantastic job,

. She made sure nothing was hurting and made my ugly feet super nice and alive again!! Everyone is so friendly there and makes sure you are 100% comfortable. Can't wait until I'm back from vacation to visit again!!!

Go check it out guys, seriously AH MAZINGG

Tony was very professional and knowledgeable massage therapist. He was able to help me relieve some long standing issues. Will be continuing to book with him in the future.

User

This place is the best to get your spa on!! The staff are all amazing and the services are incredible. A place for true healing and transformation!!

User

Quick to get an appointment, friendly and accommodating staff. Went in for laser hair removal, had 1 session so far and everything has been great!

User

My mother-in-law and I had pedicures together today and Melissa and Nova Lee were fantastic hostesses! They kept the conversation going, ensured we were comfortable, all while maintaining a level of professionalism unmatched by anyone else! We will be back! Our feet look fantastic! ;)

User

I've been going for Physical for the past few weeks, the service as been awesome. My therapist is fantastic at his job , very friendly and professional.

User

I was referred by a friend and was a little apprehensive about going since a massage at another local spa wasn’t the best. But I have to say I received the best massage and the service was outstanding!

User

I recently had a sugar scrub and anti aging facial done by Michelle at the downtown location. Michelle was fabulous. She made me feel comfortable the entire visit, she explained what she was doing, she was friendly and very professional. I will definately go back to Michelle for further treatments.

User

Got my first facial at achieve wellness spa, the staff was very friendly and welcoming! Cant believe how soft my face is!!! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, soft and relaxing environment! Will definitely be going back!! Happy holidays! Melanie xoxo

User

First time having a spa pedicure and Melissa was fantastic! It was a highlight of my vacation! She was professional, courteous and had such a great personality! I will be back when I visit again!

User

Been going there since it opened and always had great service! Clean , quite, perfect! My only one small issue is the cancellation policy! I totally 100% understand why but still is crappy that if you have to cancel within 24 hours, you have to pay 50%. With working full time and having a 4 year old, things come up and im always nervous if someone gets sick or I have to work late, I'll have to pay $60 for nothing

User

Awesome couples package! Massage was catered to us, their spa bath was relaxing and just what we needed. Professional and focussed on what our needs were. The Mrs said her new favorite pedicure place in town!

User

overall Great spa, Great Employees and Great services. Typically I see Terri-Lynn for esthetic related services and Alyson for Massages. Highly reccomend both of these ladies! <3

Unfortunately, I had a massage done the other day by a RMT for a deep tissue 90 minute massage. I spent half of my appointment wondering if this person was even trained to be a massage therapist, there was no consistency through her movements, she massaged some areas of my body and didnt on the other side, barely any pressure and didnt work out my kinks and knots. very disappointed

User

Overpriced. $90 for two of us to have gel removed and applied. Didn't feel as though it was worth the price of the pedicure and needed that extra touch ie. Hot stone, paraffin, robes etc.

User

I love the services at achieve but I find the online booking process frustrating, twice now I’ve booked appointments online and both times I’ve just missed a call saying a credit card needs to be on file to confirm the appointment. No where on the site does it ask for a credit card. So I call back right away no one answers I call back again and the appointment time is no longer available. I think having an option to put in your credit card information online would improve this system greatly and avoid these issues. Reading some of the reviews below I’m not the only one who shares this opinion.

User

The last massage I had there the RMT was sick and coughed through my whole massage. I didn’t go back for this reason. Prices are extremely high for other services. Laser Hair Removal for full legs is $800 which is outrageous. You can drive to Edmonton, stay in a nice hotel, have your legs done at Bush Whacked for $278 and still be money in. I will say one good thing, the lady who did Laser for me at Achieve was excellent; unfortunately the prices are too high.

User

Not totally impressed. I’m not typically one to write a bad review either. I usually just move on and hope for the best next time. I’ve been here twice now. First time going here was because I had a gift card for an 80 min deep tissue massage. My first impression was that the atmosphere was nice and relaxing, however front desk staff didn’t seem very friendly.

The therapist was nice, but after starting my massage asked me if she could start with some cupping therapy because my back was very tight. I am an RMT myself and know that it can be hard on the body of the therapist to do a long massage on someone who has very tight muscles so, I agreed, thinking that this was going to be about 5-10 mins of my massage. However it seemed that the cupping took up the majority of time I was in the room and very little hands on time on the back which is really disappointing. Cupping should only be a compliment to a massage, not take up the whole thing to be an easy way out for the therapist. (Unless otherwise requested by client of course) Also, what was supposed to be a full body massage was only my back, neck and the back of my legs. Did not include arms or front of the legs. Overall when I left my back felt somewhat better but it just was not much of a “massage” at all, which is what was paid for. Because of the nice spa atmosphere though, I decided I would try again just with a different therapist next time.

Fast forward to today, my husband had booked a massage for me online yesterday morning. Yesterday evening, I had a missed call and voicemail on my phone 15 minutes before you close. On my voicemail the lady said you needed a credit card to secure my booking. I tried calling back right away but you were closed. Then this morning, once I was up I called again to find out my massage had been cancelled! How unprofessional. Had I not called I wouldn’t of even known. It does not ask for a credit card number online in order to book an appointment. There should be a place for that on the website. Or it should say very clearly “appointment will not be confirmed until you call us with your credit card number”. Anyway, luckily I was still able to get in today just for an hour later than planned. I booked for one hour deep tissue with another therapist. She was friendly, professional and asked me at the start of my massage if the pressure was comfortable to start, to which I replied it was, and she also asked if she could use more pressure eventually throughout the massage and if that would be ok. I replied with yes of course I’m good with lots of pressure. (After all this was a deep tissue massage I booked) Anyway I waited for the pressure to increase as she said she would but before I knew it she was moving on and already was asking me to flip over to my back and there was literally no pressure throughout the entire massage. Absolutely not a deep tissue massage not by a long shot. I left feeling just as uncomfortable as I was before I arrived. Was it good for a relaxation massage? Yes, sure. But again not what I paid for.

When the front desk asked how my service was, I responded “not bad” which is the truth, it was not bad but it was also not great... I’m not one to make a scene, and prefer to be more subtle in a public place..thinking that how I responded was pretty clear how I felt about it, so I left it at that, paid and left. However, I don’t know about anyone else but if someone responds to me as a therapist “not bad” when I ask them how their massage was, I don’t take that as meaning they had a good experience, I take that as a subtle way of saying it wasn’t great, and my response would be to ask them how I could have improved their treatment.. not ignore the comment completely as the receptionist did and ask how they would like to pay.

So far neither experience has been great. Very disappointed because the spa itself I love! I would love to go back but the front desk needs to improve their customer service and it needs to be ensured that therapists are able to provide the services paid for.

User

My Swedish relaxation massage I booked in Nov was cancelled so they offered to rebook me at a 15% discount. So the massage with a different girl was awesome but they charged me for a deep tissue massage which costs more and took the discount off that. When I asked about the price difference and told the girls at the front I booked a Swedish relaxation massage but was charged for a deep tissue massage they were unhelpful and did not offer to correct their mistake. They told me as soon as the masseuse adds any pressure to the massage it’s considered deep tissue and they charge more. This is the first I have heard of this and I have been to this spa several times. I asked why they even offer different types massages and prices if they are just going to charge whatever they want without telling the customer and they couldn’t give me an answer. Every massage I have had here has been great however the customer service from the front desk is seriously lacking! Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll go back.

User

I booked myself into an appointment three days ago to get a fill for my gel manicure. I said as much when booking, and after being assured “we ONLY do gel” on the phone, I booked myself in. When I get there this morning, I’m told that no, they don’t do gel nails, they only do shellac.

Bit of a mix up I guess.

Normally love the services here, this was disappointing.

My mother-in-law and I had pedicures together today and Melissa and Nova Lee were fantastic hostesses! They kept the conversation going, ensured we were comfortable, all while maintaining a level of professionalism unmatched by anyone else! We will be back! Our feet look fantastic! ;)

I recently had a sugar scrub and anti aging facial done by Michelle at the downtown location. Michelle was fabulous. She made me feel comfortable the entire visit, she explained what she was doing, she was friendly and very professional. I will definately go back to Michelle for further treatments.
