Our president, Kirsten Janes, has been collaboratively creating built environments throughout Western Canada for over 25 years. Acorn Design Inc. (Acorn Design) is pleased to offer clients our expertise in both commercial and residential design. We bring together a team of experienced design and project management professionals who honour our clients' trust and work diligently to ensure the highest quality is received each and every time. Acorn Design grew out of the idea that "mighty oaks from little acorns grow. " Each project is viewed as starting as something small — perhaps an idea or an image — that when nurtured, can grow into something large with longevity. Every suggestion, product and document created and /or brought forward during the delivery of projects is given purposeful and thoughtful consideration about what is most appropriate for our client, the building facility and site, the custodial personnel, the staff, and occupants and visitors not only on the first day but in the years to come. Each undertaking is viewed by Acorn Design as an opportunity to achieve our client's aesthetic, quality, and cost goals without compromising the function or durability of each project. These words were as true 25 + years ago as they are today for Kirsten Janes, and for each of the team members who collaborate on Acorn Design projects.
