Reviews
Virtually the entire province is under either an air quality warning or heat alert.
This map (https://weather.gc.ca/warnings/index_e.h tml?prov=ab) shows which parts of the province are suffering smoke issues and those with heat alerts - many have both.
The Government of Canada provides information including a list of symptoms for people suffering health problems due to pollutants (https://www.canada.ca/…/health-effects -indoor-air-pollution…). Children and older adults are most likely to feel the effects the most.
CCOHS guidelines and information for working in hot weather. We thought it might be handy for the next day or three. http://bit.ly/2M07dNf
The effects of hot weather on workers differ. Those over 40 have a tougher time than younger workers. Read more here: http://bit.ly/2mQ87kG

Thanks for all the knowledge and for my NCSO designation !!
Great place just took my crane an rigging course. Good instructor
Great classes, great teachers... for all your safety
Completed another course on my way to COR certification.
Be aware of what I'm in too!
An eye opener for all of you out there in the construction industry or not this course will bring you to reality.
Awesome school!!!!
Great instructors! Classroom time needs to be longer for some classes
The prices to attend the NCSO conference are outrageous. Along with that, staying in downtown Calgary, parking, no lunch included makes this event out of my reach, and I suspect out of reach for many small business owners and staff.
You will probably fill it with groups from large companies, but in effect you will be missing out on a large population of people from varying industries in Alberta.
Maybe someday the ACSA will get back to reality.. and hopefully soon.
Good for specific training. And good staff.
However, they let anyone in. I've sat in classes with secretaries taking the NCSO course who have no desire to be NCSO. But the company sends them just so they can say they have one on staff. No follow through or background checks.
