I went to Advantage to by my used vehicle. They made me feel so welcome and comfortable when buying my car. I'd highly recommend coming here first!

Called to book an appointment for my truck because my check engine light was on. I was told that they were all booked up with winter tire changes and were not able to accommodate until later the following week ~ 9 business days later was the earliest spot available and I would have to leave my vehicle all day. I guess taking appointments for winter tires is more important than addressing customers vehicle maintenance warnings. Called Marlborough Ford and they fit me in the next day!

Love Advantage Ford! Made buying my new truck a very enjoyable experience. I look forward to working with these guys again in the future.

Excellent, prompt service. Bought new vehicle here just because of the service. Manager actually called me after appointments to ensure I was satisfied.

Was there to pick up some spare parts. Took a while as there was one person in front of me and the parts desk was only occupied by one staff member. Apart from the wait, pretty good experience.

Great experience with this dealership. Our Expedition required some significant repairs and they did an excellent job. We had some additional challenges with the vehicle but on two occasions they warrantied their work from the initial job. Very happy with their service.

Rip off. $149. Min charge. Just to drive in the door. Then to be told what i already knew. And that the diagnosis fee is on top of the mechanics fee and the part. Crazy thing is...it was diagnosed at another ford place but because they have a new computer system i was charged again. I won't be back.

Kute helped us to get the vehicle that fit our needs by asking and listening - common sense but not so common. I was impressed that he sought out experts in the dealership to answer questions he did not know the answer to - much better than guessing. Finally, he took accountability when an issue arose which showed me he was a stand-up guy. I would seek him out when buying another car and highly suggest letting him help you.

Very pleased with the service I received at Advantage. They were able to get my Escape in for a transmission service on the day I wanted with little notice. Everyone was friendly, efficient and honest. They called me 2 hours after I dropped it off to let me know they'd test driven my truck and agreed with my requested services, and confirmed the price with me. The Courtesy shuttle is an invaluable resource, and had me back home quickly. When something came up and I needed to get my vehicle back sooner than the shuttle was available, they called and paid for a cab for me. That's really going 'above and beyond' in my books! I was very happy to learn that the stereotype that dealerships are more expensive is NOT true. Everyone else I spoke to quoted me $250 and up (and they were not able to get me in until after the long weekend). Advantage Ford quoted me $206 for transmission & $40 for a tricky bulb replacement. All said and done I paid $219. Cannot be happier & will definitely be coming back here for all my vehicle's needs.

Used to be good. Last three times we've been there, there has been problems. The service manager, Justin, is a douche. Three Fords (2 that were bought there) won't go back. Over charged and played games when we canceled a work order. Claimed the mechanic worked late when we were told by the advisor that the mechanic left already....

Their service department is a disaster. Stay away at any cost!

What I am going to tell you here, has been going on for over a year. I have dates of conversations with this dealership as well as all the service documents, won't bore you with the details.

We took our 2004 F150 in to repair a leaking pinion seal. I drove to Edmonton that very next weekend, just as I pulled into town there was a horrible grinding noise coming from the rear of the truck.

Then next day Saturday, I took it to a local Edmonton Ford dealership. They told me that the pinion nut had not been tightened properly and this had caused a bearing to fail in the diff. (I have proof in pictures and in a letter that was written and given to me from said dealer)

I took the truck back to Advantage and told them what happened, with that proof, they fixed the truck, replacing parts at their cost.

A while later there was a horrible loud clunk from the rear of the truck, another (unsure if it was the same one) bearing in the diff failed again, they said it was a parts failure, cost would be covered by service parts warranty.

That brings us to our more recent bearing failure (unsure if it was same bearing as first 2), which they replaced again, covered by service parts warranty. The very next day we got the truck back, a bearing(s) failed again, unsure which one.

When it happened the second time, I asked if it was an issue with the actual housing that was causing failures. I was told, "no that it couldn't be, as the housing was strong and it could not be that, it had to be a bad batch of bearings".

So here were are, at the 4th time the bearings have failed. (unsure if it is the same one failing all the time)

They are now saying is not a bearing issue, but actual differential housing issue, with truck is "old as it is" that there is too much wear in the housing, that they told me just a few months ago wasn't the issue!?, so that I might have to pay $1500 to $3000 dollars to "probably" replace the axle..?

This truck is just over 140K for mileage, that is just over 10k per year on this vehicle, which is nothing for mileage for a vehicle this age.

This truck has only ever been to Edmonton or Lethbridge, has spent all of it's life in Calgary, has never been off road, been loaded with anything other than a couple of pieces of wood, or a couple of pails of dirt, ever.

..but the differential housing "has to much wear and might need to be replaced"...?

I have talked with other Ford dealerships and axle repair businesses, and was told the only reason why the housing would need to be replace was because of the internal damage caused by the first bearing failure and the repeated bearing failures there after which would damage the internal surfaces of the differential housing..

..which I asked about the second time that a bearing failed and was told that it was not the problem!?

All of this caused by a tech not tightening a pinion nut properly..

We are dropping off this truck again Mar 14-2017, so we will see what kind of BS reason they have this time.

All I can say is stay far away from this dealerships service department, they will fail at every turn, blame anyone or anything else but themselves for the terrible workmanship that they provide.

Update: It has taken 6 days before we get any news. Mon 20th the "service manager" calls tells us rear tires are not the same size, I quote "the one tire is showing cord", the axles are turning at a different speed causing the clutch pack to slip making the noise.
We get the truck home and look at the tires, there is NOT ONE showing any cord, the circumference size between rear tires is minimal. They switched rear tires to front, the noise went away. We get it home the tires are still on the rear, they moved them to the front and then back to the rear?
He said that the noise will go away once we put on tires the same size, which we will do, so we will see how that works.

Looks to me, because of their terrible service, they are coming up with any kind of reason not to properly repair this truck. Update to follow.

arranged a part replacement, was told it would take a day. Got it in, they then told me they were only inspecting today, then i would have to bring it back for another day. inspection would take 30 mins, but i would have to leave car for whole day so they could squeeze it in when a technician was free. The audacity to think that their time was so valuable they could waste 2 days of mine because they can't manage a schedule. Great place to go if you need to wast a couple of days.

My Ford Focus is at the end of its lease, so I decided to buy out my vehicle. I called and made an appointment to go in to complete the transaction. I get there and I am told that Chris, the finance person I am suppose to see is with another customer and "it might be a while". I am asked whether I am in a rush because they don't know how long it will take for Chris to finish with this other customer and then they ask whether I can come back another day and perhaps a time during the day. I work during the day, which is why I made an appointment for 5:30pm. The service is great if they want to get you into a leas, but don't expect the same level of service once you are in the lease or when you want to purchase your vehicle.
