AL Agricultural Land Trust is a leveraged investment vehicle that currently owns 82, 800 acres of farmland valued in excess of $160 million. This land is leased to qualified farm operators for cash rent. It is eligible to take a registered fund investments (RRSP). The premise is that rents will service debt and in the long term the land will appreciate in value in a material way. AgriSelect was founded by the principals of Avenue Living (14, 400 residential apartments in Western Canada, 24, 000 self storage in Canada and the USA) and others. The directors include Anthony Giuffre, Carl Diodati, Dr. Michael Giuffre, Joe Giuffre, Dr. Kabir Jivraj and Leif Snethun.
