Excellent service on a minor remote starter key fob issue even when I came back with more questions. Very patient and helpful even though it wasn't a brand they carry!

I just had a kenwood stereo installed along with a car starter John was extremely professional and knowledgeable, he delivered exactly what was ordered and installed it with no problems whatsoever.
I would have no problem referring friends or family to John for any of there auto needs

Jon is a true pro. On top of always providing top quality service, he really knows everything that is automotive electronics. After my front speakers stopped working on my brand new WRX and the dealership serviced the car 5 times over 14 weeks and never fixed it (new amp, speakers, head unit, you name it). Finally they told me I had to have my remote starter and SmartStart module removed for them to solve the problem. I called Jon and he had me bring the car in right away. It took Jon a whole 35 seconds to fix the problem!!!!! He immediately noticed a strange pop from the factory sub and realize there was a short in the connector. He fixed the connector and MAGIC I had my sound back. I won't go anywhere else for starters, audio and custom. Thanks Jon!!!!

I bought headlights from this scammer and I went to put them in and they are cheap China junk that will not fit. I went to ask him about them he said I was installing them wrong. I told him why they would not fit and he didn't seem to believe me. I brought the light in with the original and showed him and he said interesting. i ask if he would take it back or at least credit me the cost to a different set he refused. he said it is a conversion kit and needs some modifying. I ask how and he tells me he would have to put it in an oven to take the glass off and re position it. I said OK then do that but he said that I would have to pay for that. I have been a parts man all my life and I have never had to have something like that done to any aftermarket headlights to make them fit. Maybe he should advertise that or at least tell you before you buy them.

EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE> The first time I was there I purchased an alarm for my wife's car and everything was good, other than a little pricey. The next year I took my boat there and purchased speakers and the accessories to go with it....and had them install it. Again other than a little pricey everything was good. Then this year my son purchased a'new to him' truck and it came with an alarm system. Right after he buys the truck the alarm screws up so I call Airdrie Auto Trends to see if they can take a look. (assuming that I am a valued customer after having spend a few thousand dollars there). I was told they couldn't look at it because if it was towed in they couldn't work on it outside....funny that's where they did a bunch of the work on my boat? Then they told me that it was probably the starter.....for F##K's sake does this guy think he' the only one that has spent time under a hood!! Then he just outright tells me that he can't help me! WOW!!! Some of the other shops in town all comment about this guy and how he does business...always there when you want to buy something but after that your on your own! He's has made his last penny off me....I will drive to Calgary to get any audio or alarm work done from this point forward. So much for trying to support local business!!
UPDATE.......One phone call to The Car Salon on 32nd ave. and when they found out that we couldn't move the truck they sent out a service guy to fix the "ignition kill switch" that car alarms have. That is what good service looks like!
