The Community Kitchen is a place where people come to connect with others, gain cooking skills and grow personally, building a stronger community.
Airdrie Rotary Community Kitchen Description
The Community Kitchen is an initiative of the Airdrie Food Bank. It was created to move us from emergency support only to providing skill building programs and build support networks.
The facility is used for client classes, community classes as well as rentals and corporate events. Classes and workshops span a variety of topics and are being updated on an ongoing basis. Subsidies are available to ensure everyone can join in.
Kitchen program development was funded by the Calgary Foundation and the Rotary Club of Airdrie. On-going programs are funded in part by FCSS.
