Airdrie Skating Club Canpowerskate

The ASC CanPowerskate program is dynamic, fast-paced, and designed to enhance skating ability. Taught by fully certified Skate Canada CanPower Coaches.

PrePower • is geared towards skaters who are generally 4-7 years of age and already can skate forwards and backwards. This is the basic level for skaters interested in entering hockey /ringette, and teaches basic skills like stride, stopping, and turning.
CanPower 1 • is the next level after PrePower and introduces skaters to more basic skills, such as crossovers. This level also introduces timed drills.
CanPower 2-6 • is a very dynamic and fast paced environment where skaters are challenged to increase their speed, power, and endurance capabilities.
CanPower 2-6 Advanced • is for skaters on travel teams, looking to add that extra competitive edge to their skating abilities. This session is open for all skaters to try, but only those who fit into the sessions dynamics will be invited to stay. This session is high intensity and encourages skaters to push their limits.
