I have used Alberta computers a few times and they have always came through. A couple months ago I was having problems with my laser printer not scanning and they sent someone to my house and they had the problem fixed in under an hour. I bought a asus tablet type laptop from them and it’s been great. I’m really glad I didnt buy a bulky traditional laptop. It was all because of their recommendation. I’ll be buying all my computers here in the future.

Absolutely blown away by the customer service at this outfit. For starters, these guys will not scam you or waste your time.
I have built many computers in my day and the most recent build wasn't going great. Dropped off to see if the boys could diagnose as i was loosing my mind (no boot / no post). They concluded i recieved a lemon of a psu and it fried the mobo. (Newegg purchase) I bit the bullet and purchased a new psu and mobo because i didnt want to wait for rma, build is for a friend. Buddy told me he'd put it together for a measly 40$ as majority of the build was done, and if parts were defective they would replace. Great deal! So i said ok. No more headaches for me.
-came back the next day to pick up, and first thing they said to me is we owe ya XX amiunt of $ as a refund. I was baffled. Buddy went on to explain they tinkered with the defective mobo, saudered a bunch of stuff, fixed potentially bent pins... and why? Because they are frigin awesome! I already paid for new mobo amd expected nothing more than assembly at this point. These guys go out of their way to save you money. This kind of service is incredibly rare in this world. I will never go to a different tech shop again, not in gp anyways.
Thanks guys!!

Not good.
Last year, I had two devices brought in for repairs and both of them had no work done. First, I had brought in my Surface 3 tablet because the screen cracked. When I showed them the tablet, they said they couldn’t fix it because they never done repairs on a Surface tablet before. They acted as if they’ve never seen one before and they apparently know nothing about Surface tablets. The second computer I took in was an Acer computer that wouldn’t connect to the Internet. It was brand new, so there was a manufacturing defect going on, but I didn’t know that until I fixed it myself. While they did take in and I got it back in just a few days, I got the problem log and receipt and it said that “Unit has malware”. What? It never connected to the Internet before, so how could it have gotten malware? My antivirus program never detected anything either. I checked the computer and the problem remained. I scanned through the files on my computer and found no evidence that any work was done. I paid $200 for this??? Eventually I fixed it myself by removing the internal Wi-Fi detector and started using an external one. That’s when I got into DIY repairs. I have never gotten a successful repair on any devices that I brought in, so I will probably never go there again.

Had a Samsung S8 screen replaced in 3 hours today. Looks like brand new!! What a pleasant and professional experience. Would definitely recommend Alberta Computers.

We had a difficult problem which shut down our systems at our business. They didn't get it the first time, so they came back over the weekend and got us all up and running. We will definitely call them for any future computer needs!

Don't go here. The customer is never right. They will gladly take your money to fix your phone but if it's the "manufacture" problem they won't help you until you pay a full amount. The owner said he would meet me halfway with my glitchy broken LCD screen on my iPhone, never gave me a price and justified why he wouldn't because of this the way the screen was broken. My phone was in an otter box that they put my phone in when they fixed my screen.

I'm extremely happy I went to Alberta Computers yesterday. Shop local, buy local! Duncan was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and we picked out what I needed in a matter of minutes! He answered all of my questions and provided me with discounts on some refurbished items they had, which saved me money. I would definitely recommend this company :)

HORRIBLE.. I spent 2200$ on a desktop and monitor and the computer had serious issues from the time I purchased it. It would blue screen and shut down during easy to run games and I brought my computer back in to Alberta Computers 6 consecutive times to get this problem fixed and all 6 times they returned the computer to me assuring me they fixed the problem and as soon as I would get home the same problem would happen. By the 6th attempt at getting this computer fixed I had reached the end of my warranty and have essentially been screwed over by these guys. I will NEVER go back to these guys for anything.

Great service, friendly staff, and the owner is a great guy! I got a good deal on an expensive graphics card, and I would definitely trust them for any high end parts I would look to purchase in the future. The card still works perfectly after a few months, and they even helped out with some connectors to hook up the monitors I have. All in all, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend stopping by here for anything you might need!
