Alberta Tech Alliance Association

The Alberta Tech Alliance Association (ATAA) is a Calgary-based non-profit organization that provides STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) opportunities for youth through participation in the international FIRST Robotics programs. Starting with one FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team in 2014, we expanded in 2018 by incorporating a second FRC team to assist in spreading STEM opportunities. With the addition of three new FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams in 2019 and one FIRST Lego League Challenge (FLL) team in 2020, we support the largest number of students participating in FIRST Robotics programs in Western Canada. Our programs, combined, support youth from nine years old until they are eighteen years old.
