Went there once it opened with my Mom. The owner was super friendly. He treated us to some baklava and the quantity of the food shows their generosity which Arabs are known for! Totally recommend and I can't wait to eat there again!

We went there twice within a week now. The food is delicious and the owner so friendly. Best shawarma/donair we've had in Calgary so far. We'll be back soon :)

The food was amazing! They were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions and I must say it was the best shawarma I've had to date! The food portions are great and the veggies were fresh. The service was phenomenal. I'd highly recommend this place for dine in or take out! They are also on skip the dishes!

Stopped in today for a donair and it was one of the best meals I've had in forever!! It was sooooooo good, with home made garlic sauce, pickled beets, pickles... I really couldn't have been more pleased! I will definitely be back at the next earliest opportunity. �

Shocked at the different vibe of this place. Most Arabic restaurants give a greedy feeling, but Moe’s Aleppo is the exception! Soooooo good.

Really good food, good location and prices are fair. The staff is especially friednly.

Owner is really nice and down to earth, has great stories and makes amazing food! Try the falafel, its the best in the city by far!

Outstanding service! My family visited this restaurant yesterday, everyone said the food was phenomenal. The staff was amazing. Aleppo is known for it's mouth watering cuisine. I am thankful this place is a 10 minute walk from home.

Mmm such amazing food at Aleppo with amazing staff. I knew this review was a bad idea. Now I got hungry and i am craving an allepo donair or platter.

I have never had an Arabic Salad before and was new to visit Aleppo. The owner Mo took care of me and didn't steal me wrong. Yum!!! It's clean, funky and a nice change of pace with a loungy feel. I will be back.

I had heard good things about this place since it opened up, and having been craving a donair for a while, decided to try them out today. I was not disappointed. The donair was a good size, and the meat and sweet sauce both tasted terrific. The veggies I got in it we're all fresh. The gentleman taking my order was incredibly friendly. After finding out it was my first time there, he gave me a small arabic salad plate to try while I waited for my donair. I'm not a salad guy but I really liked it. Fresh strips of lettuce, tomato and cucumber with pepper and a lemon juice dressing. It was really light, tasty and refreshing. He also offered me a free bag of chips, and after I mentioned I didn't really like chips, he gave me a free piece of baklava instead, a pistachio honey one. It was terrific.



Overall an absolutely exceptional experience here, and I have not been made to feel so welcome at a new place I've tried in years! Great food, great service. I will absolutely be back

Great food, I love the staff here I come here fairly often as I go to the school that’s close to the store and they always have a great lunch for me. Moe is a great guy, and he always makes sure everyone in his store is fed. It’s a safe nice place to be the interior of the store looks nice and clean unlike most places.

Aleppo offers the sort of calm, openness that one comes to find in small businesses and independent restaurants, with a taste and hospitality that far exceed the likes of McDonald’s. For 13 dollars moe, the owner, loaded my table with all sorts of food from onion rings to shawarma

Aleppo is the best restaurant ever. Its so amazing i cant get enough. They always serve awesome dishes. I love going there after school. Service is amazing.

The cook went out of his way to give a free piece of sandwich to some poor and hungary teenagers. Tast was fanominal.

Only been once so far bit was a great experience. Will have to try many more menu items in the near future
