1. We were taught to believe that it is the immune system that is acting and causing the allergy symptoms, and in cases of anaphylactic shock, it is the immune system that is acting up in order to protect you against the allergens.

2. The immune system is not the problem, your immune system is simply reacting to a program that is running in your subconscious that say that the allergen is a threat to you. This is what activates your immune system to produce symptoms in order to get the allergens away from your body.

In the case of Hay Fever, your runny eyes, the runny nose and the sneezing are your body’s ways to push the pollens out of your eyes and nose in order to protect you against the allergens that is floating in the air during the pollen season. The pollen is fine. Your immune system is amazing at protecting you. Both are fine!

The challenge we have to address is the one running at the level of the subconscious. Pollen (or any allergens) is seen as dangerous and therefore, rely on the help of your immune system to intervene in order to protect you. There is research done with people suffering from multiple personality disorder that shows that one personality may suffer from one kind of allergy while the other does not despite sharing the same physical body.
