Allied Flux has been in the business of re-crushing Submerged Arc Welding flux /slag for well over 50 years. Our custom "closed-loop" system is very reliable and a proven performer in the consumable industry in North America. Fused or "used" Sub arc slag is sent to us for re-crushing, in this process the flux is subject to visual inspection, mechanical screening and is put through various magnets to remove impurities, the resulting product is screened to match the optimum particle size of your new or virgin flux. Rigorous QC ensures that only the highest quality product returns to you, and only you for reuse. Applicable ASME /AWS codes do allow for the use of this material with supporting laboratory tests (we have all testing done with a 3rd party welding lab. )
