This year, Judy and Judel came up to Heritage Park for the special display of Quiltworx quilts. They also put on a display of their own of their Red and White quilts, many of which are featured in their Redesigned: In Red, White & Black book. Ria Timmermans is a customer of ours from Holland. She stays in touch with our store regularly, either by visiting or emailing with us. When she isn't in Canada for a visit, her sister-in-law, Riet, comes in and picks up what she needs. Riet lives here in Calgary. Wonderful customer experience. What I liked the most was the shipping charges were the actual cost of shipping, not a computer generated charge. Highly recommend.

When I mentioned I had never been shown how to cut material and my cuts were crooked with out a thought she took me to the table and showed me how to cut properly. Definitely will be going back to buy more material on the near future. Thanks for an awesome first visit!

Lots of fabric and notions to choose from and if you're a bit "lost" the friendly staff are there to help. If you can't make it in person mail orders are filled promptly. This is my go-to-quilt store - and I live 800 km away.

I was in yesterday with my cowboy quilt. I just want to thank the lady who helped me! You were so helpful and I totally enjoyed my first time in your store! I will for sure be back. And btw I was able to get more wood grain fabric and left lots for you :)

I ordered a Sew Ezi Grand table and was very impressed with super service. Excellent would highly recommend both Along Came Quilting and the Sew Ezi products

Found the book that went with it, modified the pattern to be the size I needed.... Helped put a quilt colour scheme together. Calculated the amount of material I would need. After I got going with it, I had some questions on topstitching and remedies for slight block difference and on a Saturday, they were so patient and kind on the phone, wanting my quilt to be a success :). Their sewing machine needles were cheaper than fabriclands members sale price too!

I came from Ireland. Lynn and Julie were so helpful and all the other ladies. An amazing array and so much to look at.

I ordered fabric on Thursday and it arrived today. I have found that the colours of fabric on line are exactly the same when seen in person. I also enjoy visiting the store when I'm in Calgary.

I absolutely love your Row By Row block this year and was excited to get started. However, after purchasing the $30 kit, I opened it up to find out I now have to go and photocopy some of the pieces to 250% before I can get started (which is an added expense). I understand doing that for patterns you give away free but I feel a copy with proper sized pieces should be included with your kits. Just a suggestion for next year.
