Grandiose #newyearsresolutions are dead on arrival through lack of concrete goals and accountability. With that in mind, the means to my desired ends are: -Finish at least one new song every two weeks. -Learn guitar, piano and pads through 15 mins of practice per day -Exercise 15 mins a day (cardio or weightlifting) -Cultivate a spiritual and introspective practice through ~10 min of daily #meditation, with emphasis on #vipassana and #mettabhavana... -Read at least one novel AND one non-fiction book per month -Gain friends by attending at least two new social functions per month.

So this is the crowd I played to last night for about 15 minutes. There was no gig, no adrenaline, none of the rush I both craved amd feared. Officially it did no count as the start of a career.
