Amaranth Whole Foods Market

I've been shopping at Amaranth for a variety of items for years. They are one of the best I know of for stocking lots of good quality gluten-free options. And, though they are smaller than the big Community Health and Planet Organic shops, they do carry some items that you cannot find at these other major stores. I also really like their personal care section, as there are some amazing organic products at much better prices than even the crappy, artificial stuff one finds at Walmart, etc. Helpful, friendly staff who will happily run to the back to check if an out-of-stock item has come in. The only reason I dock one star is that their prices can be inconsistent, as in some items are comparable to or better than other stores, but sometimes significantly higher; because of this, I'll go to the other shops for these really pricey items.

I like this store for the friendly staff. Their selection isn't as great as some of the other natural food stores, but I am acknowledged here and asked if I need assistance and if they don't carry it they will advise me and suggest places to find it as well.

Ripoff. We were overcharged for several items on our bill. We didnt notice until we were home. Not worth going back and arguing with them. Hence my negative review.

A place worth visiting and buying natural or organic food. Staff is just awesome and ready to help.

They had some pretty nice stuff. Unsurprisingly though, they're not a cheap place. It's a small store and the staff consists of mostly young people. There isn't really anything that I didn't like about the store.

Some stuff is a little expensive, but they carry quality products that have helped me to become healthier.

I went there to buy Vegan ingredients to make a Pumpkin Pie & I had no idea what I was doing (I'm not Vegan myself). I asked for help from a lady who worked there (I forgot her name but she was awesome), she looked over the recipe with me and helped me find all the ingredients! Very helpful and friendly service!!! :)
