We went with our two daughters to celebrate one of their birthdays. Kelly was our guide and she was AMAZING!! The scenery was gorgeous and the horses were fabulous (we were all beginners). We had previously been out to the ranch for a sleigh ride in December. The sleigh ride was also an enjoyable experience. A great place to spend with family. We can't wait to go back and the kids are planning their next adventure there.

We booked a hayride for our Girl Guides tonight finished with a hot dog roast and everyone had a fantastic time! The staff we amazing and kind! Now will have to book a family trip for the summer! Thank you Anchor D for a great experience for our girls!!

I went here with my friends in the summer of last year and it was a pleasure (minus I hope I don't get reddy again) was stunning views the folks are very friendly horses are in amazing health. Totally would go again and again and hopefully get a more beginner horse :,) hoping to go this year with another group where I hopefully won't be the only greenhorn!

This winter Dewey gave my 96 year old mother one of the last things on her bucket list - to ride on a horse drawn sleigh. We had a wonderful time and my Mum got to see all of the Anchor D horses in the snow, then have tea in front of the big fire. It will be a cherished memory. Thanks so much for your kindness!

This was my fourth visit and once again I had a wonderful time on a kind, well trained and wonderful horse, this time Buster. Scenery was wonderful and the guides are always respectful, knowledgeable and entertaining. Thank you!! I hope to come back when I am west.

The while experience was wonderful from start to finish! The best guest ranch site and experience I have ever had! Highly recommend this ranch to anyone! I plan to visit again!

Thank you to Vic and the ladies for showing us the ropes and keeping us safe. Thanks to Earl and Jimmy our faithful steeds! As well as the 2 wonderful dogs who came along and kept watch!

The best ride ever , the horses are very well loved and well trained .not like other places where the horses are all on top of each other .and the scenery is stunning ,birch trees ,streams and mountains on the trail . Doesn't get much better than this . cant wait to go again !

Sending out a great BIG THANK YOU to all the fantastic staff at Anchor D! Took my 7yr old granddaughter out for a 4 day adventure and she loved it �� Stayed in the cabin and could not have asked for a better time! Check out this great adventure - good for the whole family

Our guides were excellent and Our family enjoyed the ride thoroughly. The scenery is like nothing we have ever seen. Thank you so much.

Just spent 4 days riding with the Junior Canadian Rangers(youth 12-18 yrs) The wranglers were amazing, patient, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The food was awesome and the horses well looked after and well suited to our levels of riders. Thank you for a wonderful experience these youths will never forget!

Just an amazing weekend with these guys. We stayed from Friday lunch time until 5pm Sunday night and enjoyed every minute of our trip. Great people, great horses, breathtaking views, great food, and great stories. Very professional. Very family orientated. Felt as if I was part of the family. I would defiantly recommend this to anybody. I've already told all of my friends n family. Thank you all so much. And a big thanks to our kiwi guide aswell.

I want to say how much fun we had at Anchor D ranch. The people are very knowledgeable, friendly, and kind to be with. We had Victoria, Ellesh, and

Katelyn on our ride. They taught us so much. My daughter who is 12 said she wants to do what they do when she gets older. They were very friendly and kind to her.



If you are coming from out of town it is a must do when in the Calgary area. This ranch is very attentive to your needs and making sure you have an awesome time. Five star outfit in my mind. Will be back there again this season.

I had the BEST time on our 2 hour trail ride! Canada and Alberta is exquisite! Thanks for the great ride and the beautiful scenery. Riley, my mare was perfect. Had lots of get up and "let's go!" Thank you for the sweet memories.

Fabulous! I hadn't been on a horse in a long time. The horse they gave me (Danny) was very well trained and the staff were all helpful and easy to talk to. The two hour ride was the best way to see all the wonderful fall colours. Can't wait to go back.
