Good frosty morning! The shop will be open from 12-3 today. This cold weather is making it very difficult to prepare for our workshop in Three Hills tonight and everything is taking a little longer than planned. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I am in love with Fusions February colour story! I love the pink accent colour, but just imagine a beautiful teal blue with that great grey palette. Just let your imagination run wild!

We will be doing an acrylic pour technique on 8x10 canvas. You will be able to do 2 projects with your choice of 16 colours from the Fusion Mineral Paint line. Cost for the workshop is $40 plus GST and you will have the option of doing an additional canvas for an additional $15. The projects will need to dry at the shop and be picked up at a later date as they will be too wet to transport. Fancy up that front entrance with a new door mat. You can choose from one of the many fun stencils we have on hand or do a mat personalized with your family name. All mats are approximately 24" x 36" and you will have the full range of Fusion Mineral Paint colours to make it uniquely yours! Non-personalized mats are $45 and Personalized are $60 plus GST. So excited to be doing a Sign Workshop located in Airdrie! We will be doing this in the Ron Ebbison Arena Building in the Boys & Girls Club of Airdrie on the north end of the building. As always you will have the full range of Fusion Mineral Paint water based acrylic products to choose from to make your sign one of a kind. All supplies are included. The options are listed below and if you have any questions just pop me a message from the Ancora page or text or call (403)660...-9158. Prepayment will be required for this event and we will advise of options after receiving a message with your project choice. Thanks!

Please go to their website and choose your top three stencils. Send a message through the Ancora Decor facebook page and we will confirm back to you which stencils we have and confirm your choice. Projects will be sized slightly larger than the stencil size indicated on the muddaritaville website. A small surcharge may apply for very large choices (over 15” x 24”)
Option 2. Family Name Sign or custom sign of your choice. $50 You will select from 5 different styles of signs personalized with your family name, wonderful for adorning your own home or as a gift. Or you can choose a saying or quote of your choice. You will have a choice of many stain and paint options to complete your project. We will be offering an assortment of four projects. You will be provided with assistance every step of the way while enjoying the great atmosphere at the Chateau and a selection of refreshments! Join us for a fun filled afternoon learning about the amazing Fusion Mineral Paint.You will bring your own small project and in most cases will complete your project that day. We will take you from prepping your piece, painting and then choosing a finish appropriate for your project. The $75 fee includes all supplies and refreshments. All Fusion products will be 10% off the day of the workshop as well as loyalty card benefits. We collect 50% of the workshop fee at time of booking and the remainder at the event. Hope you had a great Christmas and are getting ready to ring in 2019!!! One of my commitments for 2019 is getting an email list set up and sending emails for announcements such as workshop schedules and sales etc. I know a lot of you have provided email addresses over the year but if you are not sure and would like to ensure that you get notification of schedules etc. please comment on here with your email address or comment that you are sending a private message with it so I know to watch for it. Well this blessed season is upon us and I hope everyone will be snuggled up with their loved ones soon if you are not already! I had the joy of an early Christmas with children, grandchildren and several siblings for the last couple of days and now have a moment to reflect on the past year at Ancora Decor. I have been amazed and honoured by the support from all my wonderful customers, existing and new and also the warm welcome I have received in my new location in Beiseker!... I have had the great fortune of meeting so many new people and reconnecting with friends throughout the year. I consider it a great honour that so many of you choose to spend an evening (or two or three) creating beautiful things with me and think of my shop when you need that perfect little gift or accent for your home. It has been another challenging year for our family and your thoughts, prayers and well wishes have been a huge boost for us! And although a thank you does not seem enough, from the bottom of my heart, Thank You! We will be closed until January 16th to allow time for some rest and regrouping, and of course the dreaded year end paperwork!! Please contact me by cell for anything urgent, and yes, as always, running out of paint does constitute an emergency!!! Thank you again and have a very Happy Christmas one and all!!!

Join us on Saturday, December 1st as we celebrate Beiseker's Christmas in the Village Event! We will be having some fun with hourly sales in the store and free Christmas Crafts with the kids from 3-5. And be sure to take in all the events in the rest of the Village. Arcadia Cafe, Never Done Quilting, and Once Upon A Flower are also doing kids crafts, there is a Christmas market from 10-3 and then after dark there is the Santa Claus Parade and fireworks. Come and get in the Christmas Spirit!!!!

And then there was more sleds!! Three more workshops and then they will be done for the year. It’s been a wonderful November, thank you everyone that’s attended so far!
