Very nice place to take an easy hike. Only met a few people and saw three moose in the distance which was cool. Admission by donation.
Conservative area just outside Calgary. Great place for inner city hiking. Lots of deer in this park. Just wonderful
Looks like a nice place but they didnt allow me to enter because i was walking my dog so I wont be back. Rationale is that it impacts the environment, but all a dog would be doing is walking on the path next me. As long as i keep them on a leash and pick up after them i really dont see how that impacts the environment any more than the humans using the trail. This arbitrary policy has ensured that i and the other dog owners i know wont be visiting this area or supporting this cause in the future.
For walks with no frills but some unexpected wildlife appearances
Close to Calgary so a great spot to visit when you want to get outdoors but can't make it to the mountains. Nice trails, pleasant 3 to 8 km loops so you can get in some outdoor time. Some wildlife and lightly trafficked.
Great place to hike, multiple routes. Nice views.
Beautiful nature
Really great views and trails. Cows have caused a bit of a mess on the trails, beware.
Windy and cold but the view was great
I love walking here!
