Live from Summerfest. Who is ready to PARTY?

Summerfest is wet and wild! Kids zone is modified with face painting, nerf games and now a Park Scavenger Hunt!
The weather is looking promising for the 4pm Music Start time so lets show 'em what a Parkland Party can look like!

Get more out of Summerfest!
Pick an activity and just do it. All activities are free this year including, fun run, tennis, disc golf, car show, etc. For those who want to try disc golf, just show up. We will have some extra discs and a community of friendly players willing to help you.(see yesterday's post for times)
REMEMBER: Children/youth under 18 must have an EVENING wrist band to stay in the park after 4:00 pm
... What to bring
• Empty water bottle (refill your bottle on site – it’s free) • Sunscreen and bug spray • Comfortable shoes with a grip for dancing and outdoor terrain • Cash for Food/Bar (Visa, Mastercard and Debit also accepted at Bar) • If you plan to use the Bar, bring ID • Festival chairs are not allowed in the Beer Garden but can be set up in the grass in the kids zone • Chairs and tables are available in Beer Garden area • Do not bring pets • Do not bring alcohol or drugs (you may be searched on entry)
Tips • If you have small children at the festival, consider writing your cell phone number on their arm or shirt • Plan ahead to take children to the sitters by 4:00 so you can be back for the music
Please help us out by taking your empty cups and plates to the festivals recycling stations

Come exchange your Summerfest Tickets for wristbands today between now and 7pm and avoid the line up at the gate tomorrow.

Plan your Parkland Summerfest (all of the events and activities are free with admission) 8:30 am, register for fun run, 9:00 am start 11:00 am, kids bicycle decorating, 12:00 pm, bike parade Noon till 4:00 pm, Kids zone events and activities (bouncers, face painters, etc.)... Noon till 3:00 pm, Take in the spectacular car show Noon, Food Trucks Open Noon till 9:30 pm (last call) - Bar Service 12:45 pm register for tennis, 1:00 pm start 1:30 pm register for disc golf, 2:00 pm start 3:45 pm - 4:15 pm, drop kids off with the sitter 4:00 pm live music begins (Loverboy plays early in the evening before dance band) 8:45 pm bar ticket sales end 9:30 pm last call 10:00 pm music ends and the food trucks are all done 10:30 pm get home safely, cabs are available at the Park entrance (DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE)

Coming to Summerfest? Come to the office between 9am-7pm to pick up wristbands to avoid the line up on Saturday! We currently are 35% of the tickets scanned in for wristbands.

Hunting for tickets to the sold out Summerfest? Volunteer spots in security during the day have just become available. All volunteers receive their event ticket plus kids day tickets. Check out the link below.

The Classic Car Show starts with a parade. The cars leave the parking lot of the Mormon Church at Noon, heading north on Parkland Blvd. We make a loop through the neighborhood and into Park 96. These fantastic cars and bikes will be on display in the park until approximately 3:00PM
