Antheia Floral Description
On February 1st, 2014, Antheia (then known as Willow& Whimsy) opened it's shopfront in Bridgeland, Calgary.
Antheia is a company founded on the idea that beauty, luxury and sustainability are things that can seamlessly meld to together. We offer flowers that are grown in fair-trade and often organic conditions, ensuring that our products are good for the Earth, it's people and our consumers.
Our floral products are primarily shipped from Canada or the US, with Europe and fair-trade farms in Ecuador being supplementary. We will never buy the inexpensive, exploitative, chemical-ridden product from South America or Africa as supporting these industries supports the harsh working conditions and negative environmental impact these farms have.
The lead designer, Jessica Fremont, has practiced her art all over the world. From flower stands in New Zealand, high-street floral boutiques in London, destination wedding flowers in the Caribbean and many shops in between, she has a well-rounded knowledge of beauty and design.
We love being a part of the Bridgeland community and hope to become an integral part of the neighbourhood.
