This place is freaking fantastic! From the amazing kid's classes, to the check-in staff, from the service care dudes & dudettes, to the class teachers. Daughter had a great time & learned tons in her class, while I had my Airport fixed. (I didn't even have an appointment & they accommodated me easily.) Everyone was friendly, helpful & made being in the store an amazing experience. (We have owned Apple goods since 2009 & this was my first visit for help.) This is a GREAT place to go!

Purchased an iPad, knew what I wanted and the staff made it happen...quick and painless. iPad set up was easy but if u require help a staff member is available to guide u through the process. I wasn’t looking forward to going to Apple store but after this experience I would definitely go back, I would suggest a weekday at an off time it helps reduce wait time 👍🏻👍🏻

A line up on a Tuesday morning, crazy lol. I was helped by Angel, she was very knowledgable, and friendly.

A fight just to have my phone problems 'heard' and not be just simply dismissed.

They finally helped me figure out a solution and sold me a new phone even though the one I had was under warranty. I got a new Iphone 8 and now this one is giving me a new set of issues. Apple's problem (POS) and not the staff

It was the day after Black Friday and it was busy. All I needed was a splitter to charge and play my music in my late model car. If you were not buying an iPhone, iPad or laptop, you were sent to stand in a really slow moving line despite the fact there was a bunch of people in red Apple shirts standing around avoiding eye contact. For my tiny $41.00 purchase, I got attitude and lecture when I finally get to the front of the line. I don’t shop at the Chinook Apple store, this experience pretty sums up why. My advice, skip this store. If you have to go to an Apple store in Calgary, go to the Market Mall location... you will get slightly less attitude.

I am wondering if this has happened to anyone and see if anyone has any suggestions. As I am not happy with Apple service. My son got a Series 2 Nike Apple Watch for his bday as a gift in October of last year. We had no Apple care as a gift. At New Years we were going around the house hugging and wishing everyone a happy new year. His watch got stuck on a scarf or hit someone else's watch but got a scratch and the whole top came off. You would think for $400 plus dollars it would last longer. I know people who are mechanics and wear their watch while working so this shouldn't have happened plus it was only THREE months old. So I contacted Apple and they said sounds like something to do with the battery like maybe the batter swelled. Sure send it in and send you a new one. So sent it in got email that won't send new watch BUT it will cost me $299 to get a refurbished watch. REALLY!!!! Shouldn't there be better warranty? For the amount we are paying the service and warranty should be better. I understand if after year like most warranty but THREE months. There has to have been something faulty. So I don't know if Apple is the way to go. So I'm looking for suggestions or if you know somewhere else to complain I would appreciate it.

We were told by an employee at APPLE chinook that if we bought a Canadian gift card it would work in the USA- it doesn't! I talked to all the senior Apple support people and no one helped. Teach your employees the correct rules! Terrible customer service!!

The staff there lie in order to make a sale and Apple condones that behavior. Be wary of buying any Apple product as they no longer believe in decency.



When I bought my Apple Watch I asked the store employee how well they resisted damage from knocks. The individual told me that they had tested them and it would take something severe to cause any damage. Recently I banged my watch against a plate glass door at low speed, which took a gouge out of the screen. I phoned Apple, the representative I spoke to agreed that should not happen...the store employees at Market Mall agreed it should not happen, Apple customer relations agreed it should not happen and that being lied to wasn’t acceptable.....HOWEVER....nobody was prepared to make things right and fix the watch.



Short form version - Apple employees can lie to you and their company will tell you it’s not ok but that you’re stuck with the resulting problems from that lie. Aka...they’ll say anything to get a sale, even if it’s untrue. Aka....they’ll take your money by means of deception. Aka...they’ll commit fraud and do nothing when you call them on it.

My one year old iPhone was having a camera issue, and wouldn't load maps properly (very frustrating in a big city) and I brought it to Apple to get it replaced. They tried to fix it, but ended up giving me a new phone. After only 3 weeks it shut off and wouldn't turn back on. Extremely inconvenient as I was 3 hours away in a small town for work. Bring it back in, and get a new replacement because this one was totally dead. So I've had this new replacement phone for exactly ONE week today and the exact same thing happens. Shuts off and won't turn back on. I'm extremely frustrated and angry. Not only is it inconvenient to have my phone crap out three times in the last month, I now have to drive to a busy mall. Luckily enough I have an older phone to use my SIM card with until I can go get a new one. That being said the staff at Chinook are great, too bad the products they are promoting have been sub par. Very disappointed in Apple.

I'm sorry because of Apple Inc. making my 12 year old iPod obsolete even though the media in which it plays is not. I have to download illegally and not pay for Artists music. Yes.. Apple will not allow my iPod to be recognized by the software in which I have purchased my Mp3 format songs. Sorry Artists you are under the control of Apple too.

Went to the store.. gave me an example.. well.. what if the power company decided to implement a new better economical power system that required you to change all your appliances in your house? I came back with a similar example.. you have a 12 year old car and 'I" as a car company is deeming it vintage and obsolete so unknowingly without notification we were obligated under our own policies to disable the autos computer and now you will have to buy a new one.

Go Broke Apple.. FYI.. Power is regarded as a necessity of life and I think Telsa new what he was doing when he made power transfer efficient when he created AC. Stop insulting great inventors.. Tim Cook is a dictator.

THEY ARE BUSY, I AM HAPPY ABOUT IT...BUT EITEHR APPLE COMPANY OR INDIVIDUAL STORES, I DON'T KNOW THEIR BUSINESS SET UP, OFFERING ACCESSORIES LIKE EAR PHONES AND CASES THAT ARE NOT UP TO THEIR STANDARDS OR THEY KNOW THIS ND THAT IS WHY THEY OFFER SUCH POOR WARRANTY OFFERED BY THE PRODUCER OF THESE PRODUCTS. I FOR ONE HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THE EAR PHONES I PURCHASES IN APRIL AND THE INCASE PRODUCT I PURCHESE AS A CASING FOR MY MAC AIR. Don't waste your money on Apple Care as it really is Apple UNCARE! My iPad Pro that is 3 months old has a defective power switch. I waited 24 hours for an appointment at the Genius Bar which is an unacceptable time frame in my opinion. I find out that my brand new iPad Pro is defective and needs to be replaced. Well they apparently do not have a replacement iPad Pro in the store. Hmmmmm they are happy to take my $1100 if I choose to buy a new iPad but they have zero in stock to replace their defective product! So an $1100 piece of technology gets replaced with a reconditioned (used) iPad! Wow, Apple does not stand behind the products they sell! I am disgusted by Apple and the lack of customer care and support in their Chinook Centre store and the company in general. This Apple user will not be buying any Apple products any longer. If I could a zero rating I would, but sadly a one star is as low as it can go!

THEY ARE BUSY, I AM HAPPY ABOUT IT...BUT EITEHR APPLE COMPANY OR INDIVIDUAL STORES, I DON'T KNOW THEIR BUSINESS SET UP, OFFERING ACCESSORIES LIKE EAR PHONES AND CASES THAT ARE NOT UP TO THEIR STANDARDS OR THEY KNOW THIS ND THAT IS WHY THEY OFFER SUCH POOR WARRANTY OFFERED BY THE PRODUCER OF THESE PRODUCTS. I FOR ONE HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THE EAR PHONES I PURCHASES IN APRIL AND THE INCASE PRODUCT I PURCHESE AS A CASING FOR MY MAC AIR. WARRANTY HAS A SMALL WRITING THAT THE PHYSICKAL BRAKAGE IS NOT COVERED..... MY EARPHONE I PURCHASED SOLELY TO USE IN THE AIR PLANE HAD A PROBLEM. FEW HOURS IN TO FLYING WHILE I WAS WATCHING A MOVIE ONE SIDE OF THE EAR PHONE MECHANISM GAVE WAY AND GOT LOOSE...I HELD IT IN PLACE WITH A BORROWED CELOTAPE. WHEN I RETURNED FROM MY TRAVEL IN TWO MONTHS AND WENT TO EXCHANGE IT THEY SAID THEY CAN REPAIR IT... THE GENIUS WHO WAS HELPING ME WAS VERY KIND AND SAID THEY WILL EITHER REPAIR IT AND GAVE ME A NEW ONE..... THEN I RECEIVED AN E -MAIL..."BECAUSE THE EAPR PHOE WAS PHYSICALLY DEMAGED" IT WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY.....THEY WANTE 79$ TO REPAIR THE EARPHONE I BAUGHT FOR 129 DOLLARS.

WHAT THEY ARE SAYING THAT I PULLED SO HARD THAT I BROK THE MECHANISM THAT LENGTHENS OR SHORTENS THE EARPHONE...THEY ARE RETURNING IT TO ME UN REPAIRED.... I SUGGEST NOT TO BUY APPLE EARPHONES...BECAUSE I AM 75 YEARS OLD AND VERY CAREFUL WITH EVERY ITEM I HAVE... I DID NOT PULL OR DEMAGED THE MECANISM....IT WAS A FAULTY ONE TO BEGIN WITH.

Don't waste your money on Apple Care as it really is Apple UNCARE! My iPad Pro that is 3 months old has a defective power switch. I waited 24 hours for an appointment at the Genius Bar which is an unacceptable time frame in my opinion. I find out that my brand new iPad Pro is defective and needs to be replaced. Well they apparently do not have a replacement iPad Pro in the store. Hmmmmm they are happy to take my $1100 if I choose to buy a new iPad but they have zero in stock to replace their defective product! So an $1100 piece of technology gets replaced with a reconditioned (used) iPad! Wow, Apple does not stand behind the products they sell! I am disgusted by Apple and the lack of customer care and support in their Chinook Centre store and the company in general. This Apple user will not be buying any Apple products any longer. If I could a zero rating I would, but sadly a one star is as low as it can go!
