Based out of Edmonton and serving all of Alberta and Canada Coast to Coast. I have been in the banking industry for just under 10 years with some of that time spent in a banking branch. So I can attest to the differences between “Bank vs Broker”. It is also one of the reasons I am a mortgage broker instead of a ‘banker’ and I am licensed with Brokers for Life, Powered by Dominion Lending Centers.
I am a family person and as such, believe a good foundation is key. Your new home purchase or refinance is a major key stone for the rest of your life and should be treated as such. As a member of the Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals (CAAMP) and Alberta Mortgage Brokers Association (AMBA), I am committed and bound to the highest level of standards and I believe in doing what is right for you, the client.

Popping up to tell you some Good News! ..... Yesterday the Bank of Canada announcement revealed they have decided to keep its benchmark interest rate unchanged (good news). Soon we will be talking about "New Years Resolutions - 2019" ... what does that mean mortgage rate wise? When the Bank of Canada met on October 24th, there was a rate hike to 1.75%. And the consensus is that there are at least two – probably three more hikes coming in 2019. So 2019 will see higher fixed and variable rates. Condo development in Southwest Edmonton - those big towers in Windermere: the 3ed tower that is almost complete, is now going to be turned into rental suits by the new purchasing company. The original developer has sold it and so all deposits on purchases in the building are being returned to the perspective buyers.
