Matthew A. Schoenfeld 1937- 2018
It is with deep sadness that we share the news that Matthew passed away early this summer. Matthew was a participant at craft shows for many years sharing with us his masterfully crafted knives and functional and decorative pens and utensils. His sense of humor and easy personality made him always a pleasure to visit with. He will be missed by many in the artistic community and by those that support the arts. Those of us that are lucky eno...ugh to own Matthew's knives have irreplaceable treasures that will make him unforgettable. We thank him for sharing his skilled craftsmanship and creating such fine work for us to continue to appreciate with new eyes and heavy hearts.

Joining us for a third year, Kayley Therrien of Burlap Sac is a jewellery artist with 15 years experiences. Grabbing her inspiration from a mixture of colour and texture, Kayley creates her masterpieces in her metalsmithing studio in Edmonton. You can see more of her pieces at burlapsac.com.
Our inhouse cinematographer, Wladyslaw Labuda, is travelling across the country and filming our 2018 artists in their space. His last stop was in Mcdougall, ON to catch up with Randy from ROSEWELL WOODWORKING.
We are so excited to have Irene Rasetti join us this year. A natural dying artist, she appreciates an ethical way of creating as she is "making beauty from decay" and "celebrating by giving them new life."
