I have built hundreds of rigs already, and I want to build yours! Trust me: I lose sleep over serial buses; I care about your cache’s capacity; I’m deeply concerned with the coolness of your cores!
All the parts I use are 100% brand new. No stock, no bottle neck brand name crap from big-block stores. All high quality, researched parts that work together for maximum performance. I mount the motherboard in the case, re-thermal the CPU with quality thermal paste, install the RAM, hook up the right power supply, provide ample cooling, and everything else. For gaming rigs, I will provide cable management where applicable. I will also include anti-spyware, anti-virus, firewall software, an operating system, and any other software you want at OEM (original equipment manufacture) prices. No bloatware, no adware, no crappy trialware that you don’t want nor need. Just pure, clean speed. Get a computer your buddies (and clanmates) will be jealous of!
My price is simple: the cost of the parts plus a small build fee (usually $100). You will see that it usually works out to less than if you did it yourself. Dell is a rip off, your local electronics store is a joke, and Alienware sucks—I am usually 20% to 30% cheaper than them, and my units are cleaner and faster. Plus all of my rigs are upgradable. They build to make money; I build to last!
