Ashley'S Drop-In Dayhome

I am a mom of 3 amazing boys. Nolan (14), Hudson (5), Logan (1). I am returning to work after my year maternity leave. Because I wanted to be home with my kids more, I decided to return to work only part time.
I work in the Health care field (West PCN) doing evaluations, and the year before I left, I also worked in our Maternity Clinic. I have experience with children, have my advanced First Aid training specializing in infant CPR. On top of all of this, I also own and run a successful kids party company called "Totally Twisted Balloon and Body Art".

When I was on maternity leave, I was blessed to have my husband, dave, home with me as well as tons of family support. That got me thinking, some mom's do not have the same blessings I have, so I decided to open up my home for that reason.

I am offering a different type of dayhome experience for ages 0-12. On top of the typical Drop-In Service other dayhomes provide, I am also offering hourly drop-in. Need to go to the doctor's? groceries? other type of appt? maybe you just need a spa day, or your newborn is up all the time and you just wanted a few hours to sleep. . . . you can drop them off at my house and NOT have to pay for the entire day. (though daily drop-in service is still provided).

Hourly Rate is $7. 25 /hour for each child up to 6 hours
Daily rate (6 hours and over) is $45 /day for the first child, and $30 /day for each additional. On top of that, if you are a frequent visitor of my dayhome. . . . I will give you the 10th visit free (only applicable for full day drop in).

I am offering care of Thursdays and Fridays ONLY from 7am-530pm.
We are located in Woodbridge (Sherwood Park) and I am walking distant to 3 parks including a splash park, as well as TONS of neighbourhood paths and trails.

I provide lunch and two snacks, as well as Breakfast for any child that arrives before 830am.

Each Thursday we will do some sort of baking and /or decorating as I believe this is an amazing skill and bonding experience. PLUS the kids will be able to take their yummy edible creations home.

Fridays will be craft day where we will do some sort of fun, hands-on type project.
A monthly calendar l be shared so parents know what is happening each day, and decide what days they would like to book their littles to visit our dayhome.

On top of that, we will be involved in LOTS of hands on play, learning, music, outdoor adventures, and each and every day we will also have a moment of "Down time" (aka nap time for the younger kids).

We also have 1 hypo-allergenic dog named Lincoln. He is 8 years old and has been raised around children his entire life. He is very easy going and patient, and one of the best dogs I have ever seen with younger kids.

A contract will be required to be filled out for each family that is attending my dayhome, whether you visit once or ongoing. BUT contract will be kept on file for 3 years, so that you do not need to fill one out EVERY time you drop your littles off.
