Wow!!!! What an incredible night at Aspen Crossing last night!! We started our evening having supper at the Diefenbaker Dining Car - The food and service was amazing. Then we were off to the Polar Express - This was so magical and all of the characters were beyond amazing. We then checked into our accommodations for the night (the Northern Alberta Railway Cabin) and were greeted to the nicest basket of unexpected goodies. To say my girls were excited to sleep the night in the train car would be a gross understatement!!! The cabin was THE COOLEST thing we've ever experienced - EVER!!!!!! After an amazing sleep, we then had the most delicious brunch buffet at the Diefenbaker Dining Car. What a trip!!! I cannot say enough great things about every aspect of our time at Aspen Crossing. Thank you to everyone who made this the most magical and memorable little trip we've ever been on. I will be recommending this to everyone! I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!! Much love!!!

Went on the train ride today! What great fun! Had lunch on the dining car - great food! Great staff!!!

User

We love it here. Was our second trip, ran into new friends and will make Aspen an annual stop. Well treed, spacious, private spots with lots to do, quiet and very clean. Love the train ride and can’t wait to try the new escape rooms. Gift shop and garden centre are an added plus along with the new Tavern. Totally recommend checking this place out and the local Mossleigh Bar & Grill.

We had our wedding at Aspen Crossing last weekend and it was absolutely amazing! Donna and the rest of the team worked tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect. The ceremony site was breathtaking, the greenhouses both decorated so beautifully for the reception, the food was amazing, and the team was there the whole day making sure everything ran smoothly. If anything went wrong, I didn't even know, because the team took care of it before it even became a problem. Our guests stayed at the campground, which was beautiful and clean with full hookups and clean bathrooms. The group A area worked great for our rehearsal dinner and post-wedding breakfast the next morning. Our guests enjoyed exploring Aspen in the break between the ceremony and reception, and the kids especially enjoyed the trains and the playground. The photos we got are just stunning! We cannot say enough how amazing this place is, so many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, thanks to the hard work of Donna and her team. Truly a hidden gem of the prairies!

User

We had a wonderful stay in the Canadian Pacific caboose! The restaurant dining car served a delicious brunch, and the gift shop was lovely. A great pet friendly spot. We'll definitely return and look forward to a train excursion on our next visit! Thank you Aspen Crossing!

User

User

This was one of the most enjoyable date nights I have ever had with my hubby. I really dont know what we were waiting for. We did the twilight tour. The buffet was delicious, and the views from the diner car were amazing. After food, the train ride was also very entertaining and scenic. Was also very educational. I learned quite alot about southern Alberta's history. The staff were fantastic, really interacted with the passengers, and they really made it fun. The robbery was awesome, they donate all the monies robbed to local charities around southern alberta, which I thought was fantastic. I highly recommend coming soen and experiencing one of Aspen crossing's train tours. It is well worth the money and the drive! We will definitely be back.

User

The new escape rooms at Aspen crossing was probably the best escape room I've done to date. Well laid out but sufficiently challenging.

I really enjoyed how the room was based on history of the house it sits in. Highly recommend it to all who like puzzles and challenges!

User

Stayed in the Canadian Pacific Caboose. It was great. It had a really nice big shower and air conditioning . The bed was super comfy and the convenience of the fridge microwave etc was great ! The deck was perfect for the afternoon and then sitting by the firepit at night. It was close to everything in the park and the little store was well stocked ! Can’t wait to come again and stay

User

Recently brought my nephews for the polar express train ride. It was amazing, we enjoyed it just as much as the kids. It was such a blast, it makes you feel like you're living out the movie. I highly recommend it to everyone. Especially if you are a fan of the movies or the books. They really bring the characters to live literally. My nephews loved being able to interact with all of the characters especially their favourites. It's was well worth it and I hope to do it again next year.

User

Our families love it here! From doing the Polar Express Train ride last year (magical) and the Prairie Train Ride today (exciting), we will be back to do it again. The Caboose accommodations surpassed our expectations! Great family weekend.

User

My grandchildren & I loved our camping stay in the union caboose. We literally only needed to bring food & our toothbrushes & chairs to sit around the campfire. We did bring long campfire roasting forks but there were short ones provided We were so impressed with the caboose & all of the amenities inside. It was perfect. We also got to view the other larger caboose cabins. We preferred the smaller one . I'm sure the others would be just as

enjoyable to stay in. I only have one suggestion, have an electric kettle. Not everyone drinks coffee. I improvised with a pot on the cook top but a kettle would be safer.

I would recommend the caboose cabin to anyone who wants a camping experience without all the expense of owning an RV and all it entails. Excellent experience!!

User

I was at the Bergquist house trying out the escape room, specifically the room called “the study”. There was two of us, and we made it just over halfway through when we ran out of time, but we’re going back to have another run at it. It was awesome, and very challenging for two people. The riddles and puzzles were unique, and the manager of the escape rooms Kyle Reimer was super friendly and personable. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a new escape room to try should go check out the ones at Aspen Crossing. Top notch

User

I tried out the Twisted Twins escape room at Aspen Crossing and it was the toughest one I've ever done. The 90 minutes goes by so fast, but the story and how the room was set up motivated us and got us really thinking. I thought the Bergquist House was a great place to have the rooms, and if I had more time I would have stopped by the tavern. The manager (Kyle) was very fun and got the team pumped for the room, which really added to the experience. I'd definitely try it out again.

User

Had lunch at Aspen Crossing in the restaurant today..was excellent. The service from everyone was top notch. Would definitely recommend.

Did forget my purse🤨..was kept safe until I picked it up. Everyone was so friendly..will definitely be back👍🏻.

User

Had an amazing 2 weeks camping at Aspen Crossing. My younger son loved the wooden train play area (and the ice cream at the registration office) the staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. We stayed in site 45 and it was very private. Lots of trees. Can’t wait to go back next summer.

User

Amazing place to camp, I camp across Canada yearly and this place is one of my favourite camp grounds in the entire country. Delightful staff. Amazing experience all around

User

The Polar Express was great! My son loves trains so he was so excited! However when we went last Saturday(Dec.2nd) the audio wasnt working(at one point they had the girls tell all of us to turn our Wi-Fi and Data off). It was kind of a let down. The girls made due with What they could but in all honesty we were kinda sad that it wasnt working as it wasn't as interactive as we had heard. Especially when you pay that much for a ticket. I think the experience would of been a little better for our son if the audio was working. I guess we will have to try again next year..

The new escape rooms at Aspen crossing was probably the best escape room I've done to date. Well laid out but sufficiently challenging.

I really enjoyed how the room was based on history of the house it sits in. Highly recommend it to all who like puzzles and challenges!

Our families love it here! From doing the Polar Express Train ride last year (magical) and the Prairie Train Ride today (exciting), we will be back to do it again. The Caboose accommodations surpassed our expectations! Great family weekend.

Top notch

Amazing place to camp, I camp across Canada yearly and this place is one of my favourite camp grounds in the entire country. Delightful staff. Amazing experience all around
