i did my book launch at audreys last night (may 16) and it went wonderfully. jenna, who was working there, was accommodating and friendly and polite. people milled around after and the atmosphere in the store was friendly and welcoming. great store, great staff!

User

Wow, what a gem! Wonderful children's area down below and very knowledgeable staff ❤️

User

This bookstore has so much personality! I went for the first time to attend a book launch a couple weeks ago and I fell in love with the place! The staff is nice, the store is very cool and the management supports local authors by providing them a venue for book launches and showcasing local books in the store near the front counter. 5 stars!

User

They recently donated to Kamikaze Punishment Foundation's annual silent auction this year. It is so wonderful to see local business giving back to the community. Great products, great people. Highly recommend.

User

The kind of bookstore every city should have. Friendly, independent and packed with book-loving staff.

User

Thank you to the staff at Audrey's for making a difficult time just a little bit easier. The store has such a pleasant ambiance, I wanted to pick up just about every book I looked at. How have I never stopped in until today? Thanks again

Cute little shop. Definitely always had good service when I've been in. I was looking for a book last week. Because it was printed in the 90's they don't have it in stock. They ordered it and it arrived in about a week maybe even less. When I ordered it, the store was very busy. There was a book release so staff were swamped. The lady who helped me still took her time to make sure I got everything I was looking for and didn't make me feel rushed. I've been here a few times and have always had excellent customer service and was well taken care of. It's a relaxing environment. Beautifully put together as well. Adult books up top and children/teens downstairs. I appreciate the fact too that they have an elevator. My mobility isn't always the best so that's an added bonus for me and allows those who have mobility problems access to all areas of the store. Now that I'm living downtown this will be my goto book shoppe hand down. Pretty sure they're the same price as a chapters or indigo. Even if it's slightly more I would still go. Would much rather support a local business rather than a large corporate chain. Plus let's be real so many books are read online or on ereaders so even though I'm just one person, I'll do my part to try to keep the real book store open. Especially one that's locally owned. Who doesn't love the smell of a new book.

An Edmonton landmark. Happy to see it is still around.

Love this charming bookstore

User

Just wondering if you might carry the book : "things I would like to do with you" by Waylon Lewis. Thank you

User

I was helped by a very attentive, helpful employee at Audrey's Feb 6. She spent a a lot of time helping me find a novel for my teenage son who is not the biggest reader. I'm happy to report that he is in love with the novel! She searched until all avenues were covered and came up with a great match. Thanks!
