Chloe did my hair today and it was beautiful! I got pretty much exactly what I wanted. The hand massage was very nice too. However for $200 it should include a trim, and getting your hair curled shouldn't cost $25 for the 10 minutes it took her.

The haircut itself was good... But the whole experience was spoiled by the receptionist. Very poor customer service.

I keep having to repeat myself the way I don't want something cut, and she does it anyway. During last appt. was IMMEDIATELY after I said it, and Chop, chop, chop, the way I don't want it was done AGAIN.
And I don't know why, cos it looks better longer than cutting it shorter than I want. I thought it so rude to immediately go against what was asked, and just do what she wanted. An experienced stylist shouldn't be not listening to clients like this. I did try another senior stylist but a poor rushed cut overall, so had to get it cut again in 2wks. Wasn't asked for any product in my hair after it was done, no hairspray, serum etc. I just wanted to go anyway.
I like the prices, & other parts of the cut, but it's too much of a struggle between client and stylist. Ask permission and explain yourself before chopping off, especially after I just said not to. ( my appointment times were changed for two appts. When I called to confirm by 15min each, and was waiting 30min. For
a late appt. so walked around Whyte & came back, the free service that was offered i never heard about after my appt. & I didn't bother to ask)

Super helpful! I had a lot of questions about different skin care and hair care issues. They gave me some samples and we extremely patient while explaining and answering all of my questions. Thank you! I will definitely return!!

If you book an appointment for a weekend night - they may just decide to go home early - be careful. I had an appointment booked with Laurel - received 2 confirmation texts about it. Apparently she went home sick in the morning, so they had a whole day to find someone else to fill her spot (I have never booked with Laurel before so would have accepted a switch), but they made no effort to replace her all day, and instead LIED and said they left me a voicemail about the cancellation - busted: I don't have voicemail! If they can send 2 confirmation texts - did they consider sending a cancellation text? The receptionist Christine, said 'sorry' but you can always tell a 'sorrynotsorry' when someone shrugs their shoulders as they say sorry. In other words: it was not her fault, not her problem. She suggested that I should call the manager to ask for the situation to be resolved - but why does their error fall on me to resolve? She also suggested that I could have a 'discount' on a service the next time. That's assuming I'm still your customer. That's saying: if you want us to fix this, you have to spend money. I called them back 5 minutes after I left just after 7:00 pm on Friday and they had closed early when they are supposed to close @ 8:00 pm. I guess customer service took a backseat to the weekend calling. I was left downtown (I live 40 minutes away) with my hair in a bun and no other options to get ready for my date that night. Getting the haircut was wonderful, but the haircut itself is terrible. I have what can only be described as a female mullet. I had very long hair and asked for 2 1/2 inches off. They took 4 inches off of most of it, but for some inexplicable reason, decided that I needed 8 inches off in the front. So, half of my hair is chin length and the other half is a rat-tail that goes halfway down my back. It doesn't start at my chin and gently taper down to the length.

I have been growing my hair out for 3+ years, and it will probably take another 2 to grow out this monstrosity.

Phoned for an appointment but the person I spoke to was so rushed and rude I ended up hanging up. I asked if she could look up the person who had cut my hair before. Asked for phone # after 3 seconds came back with nope sorry they had updated the system and all info had been lost. This I highly doubt as when conversation had started she didn't even asked who I wanted to book with.
I'm very sorry I inconvenienced her with my request for $300 plus worth of business.

Lana is fantastic and it was a relief to find a place where the quality of service lives up to the brand. A great place to get a men's cut with attentive and talented staff.

you would have to try a few stylists till you find the one which is right for you. They are all different with different techniques and abilities. don't turn back, if you don't like what they've done for you.
