Conrad does a variety of Home Improvements, Maintenance, Interior and Exterior Finishing.

Conrad has a passion for working with wood. In highschool, he formed his first company, Conrads Custom Carpentry. For many years he did a variety of woodworking projects. He graduated from NAIT as a cabinetmaker, and worked in a high end cabinet shop, until his asthma got the best of him. Conrad then did more outdoor carpentry, and eventually started doing interior finishing. One of his favorites was installing hardwood. He also did lots of other interior work including, but not limited to, installing trim, casing, crown molding, doors, cabinets. In 2011, he felt a calling to go back to school. But this time into ministry. He had always volunteered with being a youth leader, which was also another passion of his. He finished school in April of 2014, and was recruited to do business as missions here in Wainwright with Michael Blackmer. Michael is a pastor, but felt his calling to be Conrads business partner in this undertaking. It was the perfect opportunity for Conrad and Michael to reach out to the community, doing what they both passionately love. Since May of 2014, Avodah has been in businsess. The name 'Avodah' translates to 'Work and Worship' in Hebrew. The tent logo that Avodah uses represents 'Tent making' The apostle Paul made tents to make money, so that he could continue his work proclaiming the gospel. We hope to do the same with Avodah. There are places in the world that we hope to reach through our work.
