This is a beautiful store, and the owner Jaime has been a friend and business mentor of mine for many years. I encourage you to check it out for all things baby, especially if you need to find the perfect baby carrier and actually learn how to use it properly.

The shipping with Babes in Arms was so fast it could have been Amazon Prime! I ordered a product, and it was in my mailbox the very next day! I’m very excited to try my more natural big repellant, and love that this store carries such options.

Originally I was going to order a tula online. But i got several recommendations to go to babes in arms first, as their amazing staff could help me out with carriers. I dropped by the store today with my husband and daughter. It was amazing to be able to shop, while they got to play in the play area! Thanks to the play area I was able to get a sweater and few toys for my little one without feeling rushed! Not too mention how super sweet and friendly the staff were! Fantastic shopping experience! We will definitely be back!

Can I just say that this is honestly the best store ever. I've always had amazing informative service. The information and expertise for baby wearing gear is second to none. Also they have somewhere to nurse your baby, childrens play area and change table in the washroom so you're fully cared for. I love the staff and the products. Can't say enough great stuff about this gem. Thanks for everything and congrats on your 10th anniversary it was great to come celebrate today!

The sales staff were very friendly and knowledgeable when I was selecting a baby carrier, and I was keen to support a local business. I ordered a Tula carrier in a special colour which I was told would take several weeks to come in. Since I was in no rush, I agreed and waited for the phone call. When I never received one, I called the store and they had told me they had tried to call me but I never answered, so they instead sold my carrier to another customer. I can understand if a wrong number was dialed, or if maybe there had been an issue with my phone ?? but would have appreciated a follow up phone call before they sold my custom order out from under me. I ended up ordering the same Tula from snugglebugz for a cheaper price, free shipping, and I will receive it immediately. While I had hoped to support a local business, I can't say that I will shop here again.

My wife and I went into the store a few weeks ago looking for a cloth night time training pant for our two daughters. After speaking with one of the employees about what we wanted she recommended a certain cloth diaper for us. She said they worked well and should work for us. Now my wife and I have used cloth diapers for both our daughters so we have about 4 years experience with cloth, we aren't new to them.



When we first put them on they were ridiculously bulky and out daughters could hardly even walk in them which was annoying but they were only for the night so that wasn't too big of an issue to us. The first night both of our daughters soaked completely through the diapers, which we had all 3 inserts in.



We are completely dissatisfied with the product that was recommended to us and went back the next day or day after to return them. We were told that because they were used we could not return them. We understand that, but the product was recommended to us and DOES NOT WORK. If a company stands by the products they sell and the product doesn't work, especially right from day 1 then a person should be able to return them.



We then emailed the owner of the store about our issue but 6 days later we have yet to hear anything back from her.



I would never recommend Babes In Arms to anyone I know. My wife and I are now stuck with $80 worth of Cloth Diapers that don't work and I can guarantee you we will never shop there again.
