The GoPro Creator Summit was designed to recognize and bring together 50 members of the GoPro Community in an epic destination.
To make it happen, GoPro invited their 100,000+ Community to submit a photo, video, edit or vlog to attend. Over 3,000 Creators applied for the 50 coveted spots, with the final list including advocates, vloggers, professional athletes and celebrity entertainers from around the world. Meet Alan Gacitua! Alan is the newest Social Media Ambassador at the Banff Gondola. In addition to his duties as a supervisor on the photo team at the gondola, Alan will also collect social media content on Sulphur Mountain to share across Pursuit Collection social channels.
About Alan: Alan is originally from Chile where he received a degree in media and social communication. Post graduation, Alan has put his creative talents to use as both a photographer and writer.
... When asked what he is most passionate about: Alan says, “I’m not gonna lie, I’m a master of none. The creation possibilities are too big to just choose something and keep doing it the rest of your life.”

Originally from Calgary residing in Barrie, Ont. Came home for a Visit with Family. We brought our granddaughter with us to experience the Magnificent Rockies from Banff Gondola! Stupendous Service and the Views as always Awe Inspiring!

One of the many must-see Alberta attractions. Definitely worth the trip. The views are unbeatable.

It’s a must activity when you visit Banff. Views are breathtaking and the gondola ride offers you a different perspective of the views around. The staff were friendly.

It was worth watching amazing beautiful 360 view of nature around us. Make sure you take candy’s with you because at the top there is less oxygen. Rest everything is great 👍

I have visited in the summer season with my husband and kids in the past, but what an AMAZING winter experience ...the mountain views can be seen for miles And miles. So beautiful with all the snow covering the peaks. Enjoyed my romantic hike up sulphur mountain with my hubby. Will definitely visit again.

Had the greatest time here with my boys. The view was majestic, and the syrup on a stick was ���

Great experience on the mountain top! My boyfriend proposed to me at the very top-near the weather lookout! So of course we had to celebrate! We went to the sky lounge with our other 2 friends for a bottle of champagne and our server (Tyson) was really awesome and very excited for us! Before leaving he wrote a personal message for us on our receipt and I still have it! We were there on Tuesday feb. 6

Fantastic enclosed ride to the top; magnificent view; wish we had time for the prime rib dinner in the restaurant; gift shop features lots of quality merchandise, including Korite Ammolite jewelry; breathtaking ride down too.....

Breathtaking place in Banff, a must to go. Awesome Gondola lift, with a fenomenal view, and the Sulphur Mountain climb is such another unforgettable experience. Staff very friendly, good parking (get early), food options, and souvenirs, just a total amazing experience while visiting Banff, Alberta.

It was a dream!! So beautiful!! Then we had a great dinner at the restaurant & were given complimentary Sparkling Wine!! All the staff were so excited and so friendly to us!! On the way down after dinner, the photographer who was taking pictures in the gondola took a bunch a shots for us!! We got to pick what photos we loved!! Thank you so much to everyone who made Friday 9/1/17 such a special evening for me and my fiancé!! I can't wait to come back again �

An awesome experience! The staff was very helpful on the ground and boarding was organized. Be sure and get there 20 mins or so before your board time. Clean restrooms, nice gift shop, info about the Gondola and the mountain enhance the ground experience wait time. There is also a Starbucks for a treat for the ride up. The trip up is beautiful and lasts about 8 mins. Be sure and alternate sides in the gondola coming and going so you get great views of everything. Once on top, it's simply amazing. Great views, trails, boardwalks, perfect picture spots, etc. Lots of info on the signs about the area, wildlife, etc. Also, lots of interactive activities for the kids. We had lunch at the cafe and the beef and barley soup and Panini hit the spot. Be sure and watch the short film "High Above Banff". All in all, this was an incredible experience that everyone should do. See you next time we are in town. (Hopefully during snow season)

A short 10 min ride to the top on 4 seats gondola . The view of Banff and Bow River is amazingly beautiful.

The outside deck offer a nice spot for pictures taking and if you are lucky you will be able to see some big horn sheeps licking salt on mountain rocks

We were lucky to see a black bear crossing the street near the parking lot.

Great experience..breathtaking place..yeah it’s bit overpriced but enjoyed a lot wid my family..amazing views..loved it❤️

The gondola ride was amazing and all the staff was nice. We purchased the dinner experience and was told by the gal at the front desk that we got to choose from the full menu. At the restaurant we were given a limited menu. This was sad because I was looking forward to crab cakes. Food was delicious, wait staff was fine. Drinks were overpriced.

I think it’s a bit overpriced. The view on the mountain top however was beautiful, next time I’ll save the money and hike up!

Paying 64$ for 1 adult for the gondola is a very big rip off. I will not go again.

Views are great - but rates are ridiculously high!!!! $64 per adult for a quick ride up & 90 minute window to see it all and get back down. Save your money

Plus you wait in line for ticket, then you wait about 30 minutes for your lift time
