Banff is an absolutely gorgeous place to visit! I visited during August of 2020. I love everything about this place, from the mountains, to the trees. It is magnificent!!! I would definitely come back here again!!! I would also recommend anyone who is planning on visiting to explore the beauty this place holds. Nature truly is beautiful.

I've never been to the place myself but just looking at photos I give it five stars because it looks like a dream something that's not real that you long for so bad. I could just get lost there, and never come back to Good old London Kentucky!

we have been there twice. it's a beautiful place! we really enjoyed this mountain range.
you feel so much connected to the nature and don't feel like leaving. I must say, it is one of the place where everybody should visit in a lifetime and
one of the most famous destination of Canada.

Great place to spend time with family and friends! There are lot of fun activities you can do here and also you can enjoy watching the views and have time to chill and relax! You can do walking, hiking, kayaking and even skiing! Perfect place to take a picture and feel the breeze of the place!

Absolutely gorgeous place. I'd recommend those visiting to go the speed limit within the park. The Police are hidden in the bushes with a radar gun and they have no mercy. Other than that, you'll have a great time!

Most beautiful rugged place in the world, also the most developed national park in the world.
One star less for the management. The park logs, sets fires, chases animals around, shoots wolves and other make work projects but if someone rides their bike too close to some sheep or rides a bike in the wrong place they are taken to court. There aren't any more poachers so they have to create new illegal things to keep jobs.

One of the best national parks I have been to. The beautiful colors of Lake Louise and Moraine lake should not be missed. Great hikes all around. Hike up to Agnes lake and visit the tea house. The freshly made food in the tea house is amazing!!! The tea house employees carry perishable food items and hike up and down the 5 mile route everyday. The non perishable items are dropped down by a helicopter once a year. The experience of sitting there in the tea house with the cool mountain air and eating freshly made soup and bread with tea is something that should not be missed.

If you're visiting Alberta I highly recommend going to Banff! The views you get even just from the highway are amazing! Regardless of the season It's definitely worth a visit. It's also a great area for hiking and seeing tons of cool scenery. It's definitely worth the usual $10 entry fee, but definitely try to get out there this year (2017) as there is no entrance fee to the park because of Canada 150.

Most beautiful and Canada's oldest national park in the Rocky Mountains. Tons of things to do and see, the Bow falls, Banff Gondola, hiking, skiing, mountain climbing, the hot springs, the coffee bars, the restaurants, the night life, all these quirky little shops, the scenic views.. just amazing and full of life! People from all around the world are there! Beautiful town with shuttle services always available.

This place is like a large piece of heaven on earth. God bless them for leaving this place so untamed and untouched. I have to return here in the summer months. The people are so friendly and love the gift they have been given. Words can not describe the levels of beauty and magnificence that abound here. I will be back.....many times. Thank you Canada.

I love Banff! I've been coming here since I was a baby with my family and no matter how many times I come to this park it always feels fresh and exciting. There are so many things to do-from skiing/snowboarding at a variety of mountains, to hiking in the summer in Lake Louise, to grabbing a drink at the Banff Springs, there is something for everyone. One word of warning though: it has been extremely busy the past few years so I would recommend staying in Calgary and driving out to Banff (town is about a 50 min drive from the airport) in the summer months as hotels can be well over $400 a night in Banff itself.

Some of the world's most gorgeous spots, maintained intelligently and lovingly by Canada Parks. Lots of publicly managed sights and hiking so you don't have to resort to the pricey and profit-oriented entertainment options. Visitors Center is in the town of Banff and has separate queues for info on the Park and for info on the town. Personnel staffing both were very knowledgeable, bilingual, and helpful.

This is one of the most breathtaking places on Earth. Gorgeous views with stunning drops, huge swathes of forest and beautiful flower meadows.
Things to do all year round. Skiing, sledding, cross country skiing for winter and hiking, hot springs, horse riding for Summer.
A must see-every day is a new experience!

This is one of my favorite places on Earth. It has a magical feel. Although it is a world-class destination with thousands coming to visit each year the park continues to excel in keeping it feel small. Don't get caught up in all the big-name stores, take some time and go walking in Nature's simple silence. This park makes any Canadian proud.

Set in the Canadian Rockies Banff National Park is a national treasure. In the summer there is hiking, biking, mountain climbing, horse back riding, hot springs, and canoeing. You can also visit wild flower meadows, and stunning lakes as well as spectacular mountains.

In the winter there is skiing, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, sledding, dog sledding and biking.

The town is Banff is worth a visit for great hotels, gift shops, restaurants, and the castle in the mountains.

There are lots of breathtaking drives and hikes. All abilities are catered for, so you do not need to be super fit, but it helps!

Banff National Park will forever be my favorite park in the world. This place is so beautiful and clean. When I first visited this park I was completely blown out of the water on the tranquility of this place. I have been to a lot of places, but this place I definitely have to revisit sometime further down in my life.

User

It's sooooooo fun here even though it's cold!I rate it 5 stars cause I really do love it!

User

I think this place is a good compromise. The camping is good, and there is also the town to hang out in if you need a change from all the rocks and trees.
