Our Conversation Club is more popular than ever! Every Monday from 1 – 4pm a group of residents meet in the boardroom to talk about everything and anything. We supply coffee and a few snacks.

While the weather this past week hasn't been the greatest, did you know that the skating rink is open for activities in the summer? Basketball and hockey nets are out for general use and the paved surface is a good place for rollerblading and skateboarding! All we ask is to please be aware of people around you and to use the area considerately.

The community centre is getting some care & maintenance over the summer. We are painting the exterior of the building weekdays. If you are renting space, we hope this will not impact your event. If you have any concerns, please contact Abi Harker at hallmanager@banfftrailcommunity.ca. Thank you!

Also running this summer are FREE Mindful Movement sessions in our Community Garden. Jess Veltman will be running the sessions outside, rain or shine, Thursdays, 7:30 - 8:30 PM.

Keeping the events going, coming up this Friday is our monthly FREE board games night! It's getting popular, so if you missed the last few, come on out and see what you've been missing! Bring your favorite board game or browse through our game library and play with your neighbors, friends, and family! 6:30 - 11 PM in the lower hall at the Community Centre.

Our Stampede BBQ is in the books, we hope that everyone had a great time and enjoyed themselves. Huge thank you to all the volunteers, guests, and participants who helped make this event a huge success!

Have you lost something? We are cleaning out the community centre lost and found. Please check to see if any of these items are yours. Anything not claimed by the end of July will be donated. Contact hallmanager@banfftrailcommunity.ca to arrange pick up if the hall is closed.

Looking for kids activities this summer? Banff Trail Community will be host to two Byte Camp sessions! Aug 13-17 will be Introduction to Coding while Aug 20-24 will be Claymation Movie Production. Camps run 9-4 PM. More information and registration at www.bytecamp.ca
