Staff was super friendly, room was clean. I ate at the lounge. I had the pizza and Cesar salad and it was pretty good. I didn't check out the pool. It's older, but I would stay again.

We stayed here last year and the room and service for Breakfast was great . So we booked it this year as well with closed eyes and in return got not a very good service which is ok but the breakfast had been cut down to mere loafs of bread and butter with a juice/coffee. Which was really really annoying after such a great service last year . Not going back in there

Well you get what you pay for, its one of the cheaper places to stay per night. The room was spacious and the beds were comfy but when we got there the shower was still dirty and had hair in the tub. Although there is free wifi offered, it doesn't really matter because I couldn't connect to anything with it on. It also has a liquor store located right in the hotel lobby which was convenient! If you have low expectations for a hotel and are trying to do banff on a budget this isnt a bad hotel to stay at.

This hotel has many things in common with the movie "Hot Tub Time Machine". However, a time machine that transports you back to the hotel's heyday (Calgary 1988 Olympics?) isn't one of them. Kudos to the Inn for finding a period in time & sticking to it. Everything is authentic & genuine to the 1988 Olympics. The decor, furnishings, carpet, linens & bed all from the '80's. The retro coil mattress even doubled as a trampoline. Fun for the whole family. This hotel is reminiscent of a simpler time when guest comfort was not a consideration. The staff was friendly & efficient. The rooms were clean. If you want your kids to experience 1988, then this is the place for you! However, if it is you who wants to relive your youth, I suggest you watch Red Dawn or Fast Times at Ridgemount High. Leave the Banff Voyageur Inn back in the '80's with your mullet & shoulder pads.

The water in the sink didn't work, no aircon, wifi didn't work, There was a bedbugs in your hotel I was very disappointed for our safety espicially when we have kids with us. I was still glad we had some place to sleep on just for a night. I really hope that you would put more lights in your hotel because I think there was only 4 lampshades.
