We bought two vehicles in April from Barlow Motors and we have been extremely pleased with the service we received. Tahir, the finance manager and person who managed our sale and all of the follow-up, has been excellent! Tahir made sure that all of our issues with the vehicles were taken care of before and after we purchased and picked up our 2013 BMW and our 2008 Toyota van. Almost a month later we had an issue with the van and Tahir made sure that it was taken care of for us. Tahir has gone above and beyond to serve us, even driving me to the airport after I dropped off the van to have some issues addressed. Although there were some delays in getting the initial delivery of the van, it was because they were being so thorough to ensure that the issues we asked to be addressed would be properly fixed. We would highly recommend Barlow Motors and Tahir in particular. Thanks!

Sorry to say we had to go from Winnipeg to Calgary to enjoy the best car buying experience we've ever had. Julius ,our salesman was very personable and easy to deal with and Tahir the finance manager was very efficient. Unlike other dealers they didn't waste time playing games with prices and figures, everything was up front and transparent. We've definitely recommended them to all our family and friends in Calgary. We had bought our second vehicle from these guys this past December. The first vehicle that we bought was a smoothish transaction but decent enough to buy our second vehicle from. When we went in to look at this specific vehicle my wife decided she wanted it. That was the start of our problems. It wasn’t until mid January that we had finally received our car and at that there are still things we did not receive. I’d be ok if they were minor things however this dealership has put my families safety at risk and that is where I draw the line. They told us it got an oil change and it had not, they told us it got a wheel alignment and it had not nor did they tell us it wasn’t done. In fact they told us it was done. Told us for a month they were waiting on parts(pano roof and two front heated seats) at which point they were never ordered at all. We only received 1 key from them as well and it was not disclosed to us until we purchased it(my fault I know) as they are expensive. To top it all off there was a small amount of money left on the first vehicle we bought from them. Late December my wife receives a phone call from her bank stating she defaulted on a payment and an NSF fee was issued. The upsetting issue is our credit is impeccable and it was caught fast enough that we had to force our salesman to go to the bank and pay them for the outstanding monies owed. I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from anyone affiliated with this dealership as it was a terrible experience and if they didn’t have a specific vehicle we wanted we would have went elsewhere. On the positive I do give credit to Jeff and Tahir as they did treat us very well. Maybe just an office manager that will make this business more efficient but until then buyer beware.

The car we wanted to test drive was I the showroom. The arrogant piece of work excuse of a salesman didn't want to let us drive it because "wax is expensive, and they would have to re detail the car". If what we saw is the capability of the detail department, then they need to fire their detailer. There was still leaves under the hood and in the door jams

If I could rate this business a 0 I would.



I am currently seeking legal council to try and recoup some of the $5000.00 dollars I have needed in repairs to the vehicle I purchased from them.



My car can't even be safetied for driving yet.



Cheap fixes and shady business.

I purchased a car from Barlow motors in November. As reviews below have mentioned, they 'did not have the second key'. I put in an offer on the car and they said it was too low. I mentioned that I would need to get a second key and program it to the car, and that would cost me x amount of dollars. They came back with an offer of me paying said amount towards a second key, and that they would take my car and have another key programmed too it. Now I am not stupid, and my whole family drives the same make of car and we have had to have second keys made for other vehicles before and the maximum Volkswagen have ever told us that it would take to get a second key was 4 days. So, here I am 5 weeks later still without my second key. My family and I have phoned and phoned and had no response. They seem to be in a rush to sell you a car as we told them we would think about the offer and call them back at 3pm and Barlow motors were on the phone at 2.58pm to ask if we were accepting or not. Seeing at there is more clients with the same story I have, I shall be taking them to Civil court so they don't screw anymore people over.



I was also told that on the day of pick up that my car would have a full tank of gas. Barlow motors must not understand what a full tank of gas is as I had to stop on my way home to fill it up.



Worst service I have experienced.
