Barry Pendrak was born and raised in Westlock, Alberta, a small farming town about 90 km northwest of Edmonton.

After learning to fly at a young age, Barry started his flying career in a North American B-25 Mitchell as a water bomber over forest fires in northern Alberta.

Barry learned his unique aerobatic techniques while flying his Harvard in the 1980’s.

After acquiring his Skybolt biplane Barry has developed a mesmerizing and exciting performance to thrill the spectators at the air shows.

He starts his routine with the popular and impressive inverted flat spin. From there he adds a series of loops, tail slides, hammerheads, rolls, Cuban eights and knife edge passes turning on and off the smoke for added effects.
