What a wonderful thanksgiving this will be @basecampcanmore ! My family and I couldn't be happier with our 3 bedroom unit. They even have ikea kids plates for us to use! Beautiful location
We had such an amazing time at Basecamp this weekend. Clean, well appointed condo units. Perfect for a group. We'll be back for sure.
We booked this unit for our honeymoon to Banff National Park and it was perfection! Extremely close to the park gates (5 min drive) and Banff town (15-20 min drive) with the advantage of being within walking distance of Canmore's downtown center for additional restaurants and shops. Also a less than 5 minute walk to a grocery store!
The unit was very clean and tidy upon our arrival and the kitchen was well stocked to allow for cooking on days where we didn't want to eat out. It was also very convenient to have a washer/dryer in unit as well as the iPad with pre-loaded suggestions for areas to explore. We did go up to the hot tub and found it to be very clean with a well designed patio area.
The property was still working on construction/furnishing for the second building during our stay and there were several people working during the day but we hardly noticed when we were in the unit, it was very quiet and private. Everyone was very friendly to us and contacting the property management was easy and helpful in the weeks leading up to the our trip.
I highly recommend this to anyone going up to the Canmore/Banff area wanting some freedom during their stay to cook and entertain in a beautifully designed space!
My fiancé and I stayed there last week and it was an absolute blast! The suites are very spacious, beautiful decor, amazing kitchen and even came with some board games to play! Love love loved the rooftop hot tub with the mountain view. The keyless entry feature is a really great idea and more places should have that. Brent was so genuine and great to talk to and deal with. 10/10!! Will be our spot to always stay in Canmore now.
My boyfriend and I stayed for a few nights right after they opened (August 2017). After watching the photos on-line, I admit we thought it was too good to be true. Our expectations were blown away. We stayed in a single bedroom unit. The rooms have a modern, mid-century style, with an open floor plan, a spacious, well stocked kitchen (with full sized fridge, oven/stovetop, and dishwasher). Little extras like a blue-tooth speaker, ipad with a "find a trail" app, and local soaps and coffee were thoughtful touches. My only advice is to book a stay longer than 2 nights! This is a perfect destination for a week long stay with friends and family. We were a little sad to have to leave but we look forward to returning.
Loved this place - we had a 50th birthday celebration there ... the trains can definitely be heard however they do provide ear plugs ! It worked as had 3 good sized bedrooms and we had 2 that were together and connected ... ticked all the boxes and loved that they support Rocky Mountain Soaps ��

The studio suite is a good size with a well appointed kitchen. Rocky Mountain Soap products, clean, very nicely designed are all the pros. Con is that it is very hot, with poor air circulation and no AC. Noise travels throughout the units.
