Nice spot with a view! I was there to climb the 172 stairs a few times for my workout, but I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that there are much more than stairs here. There is a lot of information available about the history of signal hill, which makes it a nice place to reflect on our past wars. Personally it serves to me as a good reminder of the cost of war and the human beings that gave up so much.

The stairs do make for a wonderful workout though - 172 steps are broken into 2 parts so you get a bit of a break in the middle. To access the stairs, you can park in the shopping centre and find the pathway between the library and the Superstore.

Great history with a self guided interprative history. Nice views of the Glenmore Resiviour.

Nice place to ride your bike.

Good views and is accessible from Signal Hill Centre parking lot. A nice Remembrance Day ceremony is held here every year.
