Good news to those that love the BBQ Hawaiian! It looks like we're making it a permanent menu item!

There's been a little hiccup with the newest Feature, so the BBQ Hawaiian is sticking around a little while longer.

The weather is getting nicer. Perhaps we'll soon be able to have our garage door open and the patio tables free of snow! (Knock wood)

What a great experience! Hands down the best calzone I've ever had - perfect, crispy-on-the-outside, pillowy-on-the-inside crust (and take-home "dough to go"!) and a fantastic, well balanced and flavourful marinara on the side for dipping. I had the Giovanna with artichokes, prosciutto and truffle oil, while my friends raved about the Spicy Italian and the Wise Guy. And the staff go above and beyond to make their customers feel welcome and appreciated.



The menu isn't extensive, but there are enough options to offer a good range of choice, with both savory and sweet dessert options - save room for the Nutella and strawberry, which is gloriously messy and perfect for sharing.



Battista's has clearly opted to "do one thing and do it exceptionally well." And the best news is that their full menu is available through Skip the Dishes, though a visit in person is well worth a drive to the north side (be sure to check out the "Christmas tree"!)

They do very well under pressure. It was very busy at lunch time and they had many large orders to go through. they go all the orders right and they took close to the exact time they'd said they'd take which was 30 min. apologized for the wait and offered a free drink. the food is amazing, great portions and fresh. it was the first and not the last time i'll be going!

The food is almost as amazing as the friendliness of this place. Had the Aloha and the Classico, and were treated to raspberries and Nutella wrapped in warm dough--all were absolutely delicious. The two men working were so wonderfully friendly. This is definitely a new favourite. My experience here made me smile all day.

The food and the hospitality are top notch. Please take the time and visit this wonderful establishment!!

Just finished finished an awesome dinner of Calzone that we picked up from Battista's this afternoon. It was great to meet you Battista. Thank you for your kindness and we look forward to trying the Calzone fresh outta' the oven next time.

I've eaten there twice and both times the calzone was excellent. They staff are cheerful and willing to engage in conversation to pass the time while your food cooks.

I invited two coworkers who were not familiar with Battista's. One is a true pizza aficionado. They both loved it! And we have two new converts. Excellent food, surroundings are basic, unpretentious and the place is a gem.

Friendliest owner. Great calzones. Comfort food goodness. Fresh ingredients and made to order. My favorites are the Wise Guy, New York mama and the Giovanna. Love the calzone dessert. Every once in a while he uses raspberries instead of strawberries with Nutella and it's even more delicious!

Food is made to order, service was friendly and they even gave us a taster of a dessert Calzone. Have have been back several times and every time is as good as the first time!

Battista is super nice and the food is soooooo good. Chatted with him for about a half hour while eating my "Classico Calzone" (which was delicious). Will definitely be back and I highly recommend anyone who hasn't been to go check it out.... You will NOT be disappointed!

Amazing food with an amazing owner! Battista even brought my kids around to show them how calzones are made and answered all their questions!!

Always friendly..fast..and my children ask me to pick up Calzone's from Batista at least once a week...so obviously delicious!
