Basia Kowal received her Bachelors in Business Commerce in 2012 from Grant Macewan University with a Major in Management and a emphasis on accounting . She started her accounting / business career in 2004 as an accounting clerk for a large corporation by 2006 she became the youngest accounting supervisor in the corporations history. In 2008 she joined a start-up construction company as the Business Manager. She developed, implemented many of the policies and procedures the company still uses today. She also developed, implemented and processed full cycle accounting and payroll. She developed a passion for helping entrepreneurs and start-ups.

In 2014, She became a Certified Pro Adviser with Quick Books Cloud and enrolled in the Chartered Professional Accountants designation (CPA) program

Basia wanted to share her passion for helping entrepreneurs succeed. So in 2014 she started Bcalm Bookkeeping. Her mission is to provide accurate and confidential bookkeeping /accounting services to entrepreneurs that are growing and require bookkeeping /accounting assistance while they work on growing their venture.

Bcalm Bookkeeping also provides private bookkeeping analysis; Ever look at your bank account at the end of the month and wonder where did my money go? We can develop simple tracking and analysis on a month to month basis to help put it all in perspective.
