Beautiful Bride

Christine is an absolute gem of a human this store is blessed to have her and please please PLEASE if you are looking go here. You will feel so beautiful and just well taken care of. Their service is top notch and I am a service manager for my profession. I was blown away and felt like they wanted my business. The dresses are stunning and affordable. Go. Ask for Christine.

I can’t begin to express how incredible my experience was with beautiful bride. The staff made me feel so confident and beautiful the entire time I was there. Not only did I have the amazing moment of saying yes to the dress ( even though it was tough with their beautiful selections of dresses ) I was also pleasantly surprised to find out that my dress was over 200$ cheaper there then at other bridal salons throughout calgary!
Overall absolutely fantastic experience!

I hope your store got better and that you hired better people with a sense of empathy and kindness. The store was clean and lots of selection and quite a few modest dresses.

I went to your store a few years ago -2008 to be exact- and until now I haven't experienced body shaming in other stores. The lady who helped me was a terrible person, she was in her late 40's early 50's. I tried only two or three dresses and I decided to leave and never come back to try or buy my dress and bridesmaids. I felt like crying after the terrible experience I had -glad I have a great family and circle of friends! :)
Not sure if that woman was a bully or just miserable with her life.
As I was trying the wedding dresses she would come back now and then but never too close. Before she walked around us and stare at the dress I was trying in, she would start whispering with the other sales associate and started giggling and laughing while they were were staring at me.... I could tell the other sales girls felt uncomfortable and didn't follow her jokes. It was obvious she was pointing at me as we were the only clients that afternoon. The worst part was that the friend who made the appointment for us to go, knew this lady from church.
The store had beautiful gowns and many were modest just a shame that this store would hire people like this. I thought I would leave this review for the hiring managers to know and trained their sales people and managers to give a great customer service where empathy and sales skills are a priority.

Beautiful Bride was the first store I went to and ended up being the store I got my dress from. I went to 10 stores in the city, tried on over 100 dresses and this has been my favorite place! Christine helped me on both visits into the store. She was super friendly and helpful! I had my first visit in February and went back 6 months later to order my dress. She remembered who I was, the dresses I tried on, who I was in the store shopping with and all the details from my visit the moment I walked in the door. It was refreshing and I had the absolute best shopping experience getting my dress there! I left the store feeling so good about my purchase and can’t wait for the dress to come in! My dress was carried at 8 stores in Alberta and they offered me the most competitive price! My mom tried on mother of the bride dresses as well and she was super happy with her experience! I highly recommend checking them out!

The place was nice and the consultants were friendly at first. However, the consultant kept putting the bride is dresses that were too small and when the bride tried to tell her they wouldn't fit she told her to just squeeze into them. The bride then asked me to come in and help her get out of the dress. The bride is by no means heavy and 20 minutes into the appointment the consultant looked at the bride and said "sorry we have nothing here for you". Horrible experience shopping for a wedding dress.

I would just like people to know that if you are looking for a wonderful wedding dress shopping experience that Beautiful Bride is NOT the place for that .
I was truly horrified with how unwelcoming and unpleasant the staff was here. Throughout our entire experience the staff were whispering about us and seemed so inconvenienced to even help us...even though we were their ONLY customers.
I did try to email the manager of this store to tell them of our experience before writing this review just to give them an opportunity to respond- but this company seems to know nothing about the importance of customer service! For any bride- Do NOT go here!

My fiancee is quite unhappy with the service here. Needless to say if your staff is going to make rude remarks regarding someones body shape/ weight maybe they should wait till they're somewhere when the bride's wedding party can't overhear. And instead of being rude you could simply say the dress isn't the right fit.

Beautiful store, super friendly helpful staff that didn't mind me and a few different friends and my mom coming in several different times to try one a dress I loved!!! Would definitely recommend

I had a great experience here and ended up finding my dress! I went in the morning and after my appointments at other salons, they fit me in near the end of the day to try on my two favourites which I was very grateful for. I was in from out of town, so this meant a lot. I also ended up phoning later that week to order additional fabric from my skirt and they accommodated my request! Thank you, can't wait to see my dress!
