Beecentric Hive

Inspired by Nature. Built for Bees. Beecentric Hives is an eight frame Langstroth hive with a Warre style insulated quilt-box and vented roof.

Handmade in Edmonton, Alberta for local pickup or shipping across Canada and the United States.

In 2011, I started keeping honeybees in traditional Warre hives but I missed the versatility of movable frames. The following year, I modified the Warre hive to accept standard medium frames and the Beencentric Hive was born.

Soon, friends and the local beekeeping community were asking about the hives and wanting some for themselves. Since that time, I've been taking order for the hives and making them available for the local market.
