User

This is my all time favorite pub. Love the Hogs Head beer. Absolutely no complaints.

User

Have I truly never reviewed this place? It's like my Cheers. I love that there is always something new to try, great beers served by great people, and a damned fine pizza pie. If you haven't tried it, try it.

User

Great place lots of fun smiling ear to ear great time

User

Great people. Great service. Great beer.

User

For starters John Catucci was right. YOU GOTTA EAT HERE. Omg I have never had such good food. As a starter I had beer battered ribs. They were to die for and my main course was the chicken wing pizza. Amazing is all I can say. If ever you are in Calgary go eat here you won't regret it.

User

Awesome service. Awesome staff and amazing beer. I love it

User

User

Always a great tap list and they rotate on a regular basis. They always manage to have a few beers on that I have never tried. Great food and snacks to pair up with the beer. Educated and attentive staff make this a must have beer experience. Trust me you will be back time and time again

User

Pretty good pizza -- great beer! Definitely worth checking out!

User

I've been to this place twice now and I must say, it is one of my favourite craft beer places in the city. I like how the restaurant isn't so big that it's hard to find your friends when you're meeting there. But it doesn't feel too small at the same time. The beer list is displayed on screens all around the bar, making it easy to select your next drink.

I had the Blazing Saddle Wrap and it really hit the spot! It's nice to have something a little different than a burger or even a standard steak sandwich every once in a while.

I will definitely be back, there's still so many more beer to try!

User

was at your 130th ave location this afternoon, there were maybe 8 people in the whole place, it took about an hour just to get our food, the food was good, service was alright, but waiting an hour for our food to arrive when there is only 8 people in the whole resteraunt? all we ordered were the subs, the only things needing to be cooked on it is the bun which takes 30 seconds or less, and the fries which takes 3 minutes (btw ive worked in the kitchen many times, and know it doesnt take an hour to bring food out), manager stepped in to help due to the service being a little slow, when we got our food, we had to get up to the bar and ask for cutlery, the waitress never noticed we didnt have napkins or cutlery, doubt i will be back.

P.S. dont give me the excuse that you guys just opened, ive helped open 3 resteraunts/bars, and 1 of them was a very high end resteraunt, the only time ive seen a bill go out after an hour, was when it was super packed, not when it was dead

User

Oh my goodness.

We went to our most frequent and reliable spot for our rare date night, Beer Revolution.

We were promptly greeted and served drinks. It was all downhill from there. I ordered a Bellini (delicious by the way) and my husband ordered the sangria. We order sangria quite often from most downtown spots and we were thoroughly disappointed with our warm, bland, red sangria completely lacking flavour. We immediately grabbed our servers attention and sent it back for another delicious Bellini.

Over 40 minutes went by as we waited for our pretzel bites and pizza spring rolls (we have ordered these appetizers every single time we have been here and never, ever have we been disappointed). I had to walk around the bar and find our server as she completely neglected us. (not even concerned with whether or not we had another round) By the way, multiple tables had to approach the bartender to get there bill as they too were tired of being neglected and just left after 1 round. (At least we werent the only ones relieving awful/no service)

She informed me my food was on its way and she would check with the kitchen. 5 minutes later she comes and tells us she "has forgotten to place our order, but don't worry, our kitchen can make it on the fly." Obviously we were not interested in staying after our server displayed a total lack of awareness or care. The best part, I got charged for the sangria I sent back in the very beginning.

It seems like a far cry from appearing on "you gotta eat here" and all of the positive reviews online. This was the single worst lounge/restaurant experience I've had in Calgary.

We were thoroughly disappointed and are left wondering what happened to a once mighty, delicious and very friendly establishment.
