Bela Baliko has the best wildlife and nature photography I have ever seen! It is amazing how he can capture the sweet expression of a polar bear cub or a dew drop from a flower. His art is awesome. Just as Ansel Adams captured nature in black and white, Bela Baliko captures nature at it's fullest in living color. Bela Baliko will certainly be one of the top 5 most influential photographers who will leave a lasting historical impact on future generations.

My poor ranking is not because of the quality of the photographs. There is no debate that the pictures of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, and Banff National Park are beautiful. My frustration is a result of the publisher's decision to use and reuse the same photographs year after year. As a Christmas gift for my wife, I have historically purchased a calendar containing photographs of the Canadian Rockies. As a result I have a small stack of these calendars. But as I flip through the pages of these calendars, comparing pictures from the various years, it is clear that all of these pictures are exactly the same. From one year to the next the only difference is how tighly a certain picture might be cropped. But the core picture is the same from year to year. So my complaint is this. With the vast number of different mountain vistas, mountain views, rivers and lakes that this area has to offer could, could you not do a better job by providing some variety in the selection of pictures that are published in your calendars. At a cost of $15 per calendar, I wouldn't think that we the consumer deserve a product that is different from one year to the next. Sincerely.

My poor ranking is not because of the quality of the photographs. There is no debate that the pictures of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, and Banff National Park are beautiful. My frustration is a result of the publisher's decision to use and reuse the same photographs year after year. As a Christmas gift for my wife, I have historically purchased a calendar containing photographs of the Canadian Rockies. As a result I have a small stack of these calendars. But as I flip through the pages of these calendars, comparing pictures from the various years, it is clear that all of these pictures are exactly the same. From one year to the next the only difference is how tighly a certain picture might be cropped. But the core picture is the same from year to year. So my complaint is this. With the vast number of different mountain vistas, mountain views, rivers and lakes that this area has to offer could, could you not do a better job by providing some variety in the selection of pictures that are published in your calendars. At a cost of $15 per calendar, I wouldn't think that we the consumer deserve a product that is different from one year to the next. Sincerely.
