'Believing In Birth' Doula Services Description
2007: Certified Birth Doula
2011: Certified Childbirth Educator
2012: Postpartum Doula (seeking certification)
A doula is a trained labour support person who provides emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, childbirth, and in the postpartum. She absolutely doesn't replace medical caregivers or your birth partner, but rather complements them.
In a nutshell: I help women to achieve healthier and more positive births.
I also offer private childbirth preparation classes (prenatals), birth plan consultations, postpartum support services, and breastfeeding classes.
I currently offer my services to women in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and surrounding area.
