This store is a must visit! The pictures just don’t do justice for these items. It’s a must see in person. I am now addicted to chalk paint � It’s amazing what a bit of paint can do to renew old furniture and incorporate colour schemes in your home AND with pieces of furniture you already own! (Although the pieces in store are Gorgeous!!!) The ladies are so helpful with any questions you may have and make your visit that much more enjoyable! Nathalie I am so happy you opened this store here in YMM! Love it! �

The furniture is mostly hand painted by herself and other local residents so you won't get a dozen of each piece! This is a gem of a shop and the staff are the diamonds! They saved my sanity when I first went on maternity leave and was waiting for my son to arrive. I had never attempted any type of furniture DIY projects before but I was bored and nesting big time! There was a huge variety of paints, waxes, fixtures and tools and anything that I could ever need for my projects and staff to show me how to use them. I left the shop super excited and confident in my ability to use my purchases. My projects turned out beautifully and kept me occupied until my son arrived. Love this place!

They have the most amazing painted furniture! If they don't have just want you want, trust me, they will create it. Everything is unique and speical. Not the run of he mill shop. The owner Nathalie and all of her employees always go the extra mile to help you in any way. You deserve the 5 stars!

Nathalie is passionate about her business and her shop shows it! She and her staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and have inspired me to start some projects of my own. The shop is gorgeous and gives many local artisans an opportunity to showcase their work. If I could give a 10 star view, I would!

I have been to this cute store a couple of times since it opened and I love it! We bought ALL of our end of school year teacher gifts from here too! The staff were amazing! My daughter and I loved looking at the adorable selection of drawer knobs and loved the furniture that was there! And every time we have been the selection is different! Seriously Fort McMurray is long over due for some absolute serendipity!

I brought my sister from out of town to one of the evening classes and we had so much fun! Natalie was a great instructor and offered so many ideas on how we can do our project. A very fun night out!

Have taken a class there and it was such fun and informative. Love the selection of local jewellery as well �

Absolute Serendipity is a MUST SEE shop in Fort McMurray. It truly is one of a kind and is so warm and welcoming!! The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable! Not only is there everything you would need there to start a home decor project but it also has SO much to offer for gifts and just fun unique items! Every time I walk in it has changed with more to offer and new and unique things.

I would also like to leave a note regarding the business side. I work closely with Nathalie as she also sells some of my locally made products. I feel extremely proud and fortunate to get to showcase my products in this shop. Nathalie and her employees are an absolute joy to work with and they take such care in the upkeep of the store. There is so much pride and love that went into the making of the store and I feel extremely privileged to be apart of it.
