Bent Arrow has done nothing but help me and my son!

They provide me with on going trauma and housing support for us through their housing first program.

I got to keep my baby in my care because of the housing team! Now I have long term, stable, affordable housing for my son and I.

I am able to work on goals, have home visits, be a part of traditions and activities outside the home as well at Parkdale School.

I appreciate all the support.

Thank you for the lunch your group provided me that day. I am limited now in the food access I have in the City and the agencies that are -informally- interconnected, and in touch with each other. We got your back!

Hello, im a mother of 4, and im involved with the bent arrow/khakiyaw company. Over the last year and a half a lot has happened. However there is a worker that is employed by the company that has verbally assaulted my three young daughters time and time again. After reporting several times she still only gets "spoken to" by her supervisor. The fourth time was enough, I reported the last incident to the cps/cfs worker and she called the supervisor and she and i were both told that the "abusive" worker would no longer be on our file or be able to drive my daughters, but now the company is sneaking around and not informing me that this worker was still driving my kids, which leaves my kids vulnerable to another verbal assault by her. I have reported it to the caseworker again, and she is upset that she was lied to and that this company is now sneaking around. With that being said, i am considering a lawsuit against the company due to the ongoing verbal and mental abuse they have subjected my daughters to with this worker. I will be in touch!!!

Its too bad when ppl feel the need to powertrip and let go of valuable employees for no reason other then intimidation...maybe if the director actually had some education she would understand this bent up organization isnt about her...its about our CHILDREN in care...no wonder the turn over rate is so high there...
