Berjaya Taekwon-Do

Canadian Taekwon-Do Federation International’s (C.T.F.I.) 2018 National Championships was held in Calgary at the Genesis Centre on November 10th and 11th.
Local Airdrie club, Berjaya Taekwon-Do, was awarded as the most supportive club, with 34 students participating, and walked away with 49 metals in total. 16 Gold, 14 Silver and 19 bronze. With nearly 600 competitors (~570), who turned out from across Canada, Berjaya Taekwon-Do is proud that one alumni student, Dakota Martin and 2 black belts, Jacob Heide and Kevin Escoto, have been asked to go to Montreal in January for the Team Canada training camp, in preparation for the upcoming International Taekwon-Do World Championships being held in Inzell, Germany in April of 2019.
