The guy working at the back (south side) of the store is lazy. Asked him where the wall smart plug was and he pointed me to the video game section and didn't bother showing me where. I ended up finding it myself on the opposite side of where he pointed in the store.

Staff had very little knowledge about computers and laptops. We were "helped" by four different staff that all stood around and did not actually seem to know what to do. Even when we picked out what we wanted, a couple of the staff tried to sell us something with completely different specs because it was "cheaper".
Went to memory express instead, where they know what they are talking about, have more in stock, and the prices are cheaper.

I went there to buy a pair of speakers, the demo machine that the speakers were hooked up to wasn't working. There was nobody around to help so I went to another department and asked someone who paged someone to help me. He comes over to the demo machine, pushes the same buttons I did and was like "yeah it's not working". I asked him if he could get it working or perhaps connect the speakers to one of the receivers so I can have a listen before I spend $500 on them.

He said he has no way to get it working and said he would get someone else to help me. I waited and waited while he went and helped someone else in the same department.

If someone is willing to lose a $500 sale because they couldn't take 5 minutes to connect a pair of speakers to a stereo, they should not be working at an electronics store.

I would have just connected them myself but I didn't feel it was appropriate to go into a store and move around the display products and disconnect things.

I went somewhere else to buy speakers

Always has many new electronic products to see and to try. I bought a MyGica media streamer three weeks ago. When I casted videos from my cellphone, sometimes there was no sound. I returned it without harassment.

Store is designed well. Lots of cool electronics. Staff was friendly, informative and very helpful.

I am surprised at the people who work there. I bought a TV and the manager told me that a Google home was free with it.
When we go to check out, things change and than he informs me that there is no Google home offer with it. This is in a span of 15 minutes going from one counter to another.
Than I give him my best buy silver card and he tells me that my membership card is from US and not valid in Canada. Also as per him my best buy credit would not be accepted because it was from US. I am not sure if he was aware that best buy Cards are from major credit card companies. I gave him my other credit card ( which by the way is also issued in US) and got out of there.
If this is the manager..... What about the people who work under him.... God save best buy Canada........

I was greeted as soon as I came in. Three staff members ask me if I needed help as I wonder around the store. The cashier and the gentleman where you do return was very friendly and polite.

Charlotte did an amazing job with helping me out getting my new cell phone. She was very patient and caring. Between her and her co-worker (unfortunately I didn't get her name), they were able to keep my daughter occupied by offering her coloring books, stickers, and her all time favorite toy - play doh. The service was super fast as Charlotte greeted me right away, asked the right questions to find out what I was looking for, set up my new phone, and explained everything really well. This was definitely the best experience I ever had at any retail store! I was in and out within 20 minutes, definitely a lot faster than going to the Telus store directly.

After reading reviews from this store I was skeptical about going to it. In all honesty, I was very impressed with all the staff and how they handled my case with a receiver/amp that never worked correctly from the day I got it. No problems returning and exchanging and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I was at the store at 7 pm on a Tuesday. No complaints here. Desirae and Teresa were excellent!

We had to wait for the guy to show up because we wanted to buy a tablet. But there was no one. All the people we asked, went in search of the missing person. But he finally showed up and was helpful from thereon.

My last experience here was weird. I know the sales staff are no commission based but I believe they still make extra on warranty. I could be wrong.

I was looking for a baby monitor, I was asked if I need anything. I replied I was fine and I could get one myself. They sales person stayed and lurked over me the whole time I was there. A little on the strange side.

Worst costumer service of all Best Buy stores I have ever experienced. I was looking for speakers. Once I decided to buy we asked help for 5 different people because we wanted a different colour that wasn't on display. Every employee said they would call someone to help even though the question was really simple. We waited for almost half an hour while some of the employees were watching tv tight beside us. When finally one person came to help really nice but had no idea about speakers whatsoever. We bought because it was what we really wanted but once someone is spending $500 on a speaker it is expected a minimum of customer service. Got to the cashier and had to wait 15 more minutes hence it was only one person at the check out on duty and she wasn't able to help a customer in front while no managers were around at all. I hope someone from the store reads this and take some action towards future customers.
